Working K9

I attended Working K9's police training academy in November, 2022 and I learned more about working dogs in one week with Tony and his staff than I did at the 6-week academy with my first working dog. The kennel, the training environment, and philosophies are all exceptional - you're wasting time and money going somewhere else for dog training.

Tony did an excellent job with our GSD Vayda. She learned a lot from Tony and so did we! I would highly recommend working K9s to anyone who's looking for a trainer with results!

Brought our 16 week old rottie here and the working k9 staff and facility has surpassed our expectations. Rue has been our trainer and has been very thorough, knowledgeable and respectful throughout our entire duration of training sessions here! Our training sessions with Rue were terrific. My wife and I started working with Tony when our pup was about 7 months.Starting off just doing his drop in Sunday morning classes, we were blown away at how well our boy was doing that we had to get in and do some one on ones as well.Let me tell you it was like our training started taking steroids.We have started running obstacles, doing scent work and even tried our hand at beginner bite work.Tony has a way of not only explaining what to do, but how and why as well , in a way that makes sense and is also fun for both me and my dog.Both mine and my dogs confidence has grown in spectacular fashion and it is all thanks to Tony.I would recommend to absolutely anyone with a dog wholeheartedly.

I am the owner of a 14month old Presa Canario. I did serveral years of research before settling on this breed and I also knew I would need a trainer framiliar with these types of dogs. Through recommendation and research I found Tony and the Workingk9 team. It was probably the best decision ive made as a dog owner. My presa is true to his breed, as a puppy he was wary of strangers and has never been fond of other dogs. With Tonys help and incredible knowledge of dogs,  mastiffs and bull breeds imparticular my boy is an absolute joy, I can take him anywhere without worry and hes even excelling in the advanced group obedience class which is primarily off leash.If you're on the fence at all I assure you it will be the best decision you make for you and your dog. Everyone at Workingk9 is very knowledgeable and super friendly to work with.

Tony has a very solid and simple method to start training dogs for every level. The methods are easy to pick and he shows step by step so you under the fundamentals and foundation in which the dog has been trained. Definitely a top trainer in my book.

I highly recommend WorkingK9 for ANY dog training needs! I have been training with Rue (Tony's team) for the past 6 months with my cane corso puppies. I feel like they just graduated from Doggy University with Honours! And so did I. The deep bond and respect that was formed during this time could not have happened without the invaluable training and advice I received. They care about teaching you all the tools you need to train any dog to perfect obedience, and for you to be aware and know how to deal with behaviour issues even before they become a problem. Not just large breeds, although the whole team is excellent especially with large breeds and problem dogs. I choose individual training sessions to teach my pups (and me) the correct ways to behave before they reached adults, and their growth exceeded all expectations. Their confidence has soared, and now mine has too - as I feel capable to handle any situation that may arise in the future. A big thanks to Rue for his kindness and patience, breaking old habits is hard but the reward is worth it. I am really going to miss our weekly sessions!
