I went to this place with some of my friends in which one of my friend was pure vegetarian and we ordered the shakka which is vegetarian dish and the server brought maansa which is an non vegetarian dish and when we update this incident to the manager he was very rude and he stated that it happens sometimes and there is no big deal and was giving attitude. Please be careful in visiting such places with family especially you have your own choices or preferences.

Went with a group of 9 on a Sunday night! Food was decent and service was great! Goat must have been cooked more for the biryani. Overall good experience.

Just ordered pick up from this place….. The food is too good.. samosas are small but amazing taste… angare kabab tastes so good.. got complimentary naans.. soft and buttery…not dry like other places,... loved it.. the food is fresh and tasty… only regret , that i never tried this place earlier even when i live like 5 mins away from this place!!!

It’s a decent restaurant with nice taste of Indian food.We enjoyed our evening.Only one thing which I didn’t like it, too much waiting for you order plus it was not busy. We gave our order everything in one go along with main course. After 30-40 minutes got appetizers then after 40 minutes go main course. I wish the service could be faster.

The Place offers good Samosas and Tandoori Chicken.However,it has been inconsistent in its biryani-Be it Chicken or Veg.I also would expect a faster service.We have waited for like 45 min to get our starters even when no one was there at a time of 4pm.

Went there for dinner with friends. Food was delicious and restaurant is at prime location at University ave. Ambience was nice but a light more light could have made better impression. Cost was nominal and if you’re looking out for dishes with garlic and onion restaurant do take special requests but in limited dishes.Overall had great time.Would recommend if you want to try something desi while exploring heart of downtown

Absolutely amazing service at The Host. The manager asked if we were fasting (Ramadhan) and I informed them we were, they gave us complimentary mango lassi’s each. We ordered an appetizer of samosas, they came before the food which was amazing. For the main we ordered butter chicken + naan + rice + Raita. The quantity was a lot for two. The price was very fair for fine dining because the interior of the restaurant was upscale, and the food was high quality. I enjoyed my experience. The only thing that could’ve improved my experience was the lighting. It is very dark in there and it made me nauseous but that’s a personal issue ha!

Good but not the best for what you pay for.Individual dishes are quite expensive but not so good that you'd think ah fine dining".The $20-22 buffet has the smallest selection I've seen for any buffet. With less than 10 trays of food and barely any vegetables
