The club spaces are nice and the tutorial rooms are great. The main hall is very interesting as a use of lecture and technology.

Very spacious building that at first glance feels fairly modern. Good views from the upper floors. Very poor planning on the details of the building however - you have to climb the stairs up two storeys before you'll find a water fountain (which is a mediocre hole in the wall requiring you to hold a stiff button and only supports bottle filling). Also I say take the stairs because although the elevators are quite new, they are some of the sketchiest on campus.

Looks like a nice modern building but when you spend some time inside you notice a lot of flaws. The elevators often don't work and when they do they are extremely slow. There are few water fountains and those that you do find only allow for water bottle refills - you can't fit your head in the small crevice to drink. Finally, in some rooms the AC system makes a high pitched humming noise that will drive you mental if trying to study.

Nice, new building. Everything is clean and spacious. Lecture hall layout is a lot different to the older buildings. Interesting and effective use of technology for lectures (like buttons you can press instead of raising your hand.) The screens are huge, so even if you are sitting on the far edge of the room, no need to twist your neck to view them properly.

Lee and Margaret Lau Auditorium (floor 1-2) has tables with 4 seats each equipped with individual microphones and HMDI in so I'm guessing each table group can present while remaining seated. Floors 5-8 feature a central atrium with sunlight and small classrooms/office space/meeting rooms around the perimeter. As of 30 Aug 2018, it smells heavily of wood and gassing since it's still technically under construction.

Convenient facility. Twice cleaned a day. Bathroom and elevators per floor. The lecture hall 150 was easy to find. Seats and tables are scattered around the building and there are three recycling options and a food trash provided on the second floor (above surface level). The natural and manufactured lightings make the place well lit for study and reading. The place is quiet even when students are waiting for exams do it is easy to focus on the second floor.

Best lecture hall for CS. However the stairs get really crowded during peak times, wish they planned it better.

No water fountain (only allows you to refill bottles)1 washroom stall for a floor with a 400-ppl lecture roomElevators constantly malfunctionWi-Fi is the most unreliable among all campus buildingsU of T probably wasted billions in building this, because they can't figure out the ergonomics right.

The Myhal Centre is a great place for innovating. It's prototyping labs and design studios are well advanced for all sorts of fabrications. The open, naturally lit spaces with high ceilings promote a more interactive experience. Its sustainable design not only preserves resources but also educates students about their role as engineers in promoting environmental sustainability.

No water fountains on the first and second floor right so if you're in the giant lecture hall you have to go all the way up a huge flight of stairs to get water. And even then the water fountains are just tiny water bottle refill stations in a hole in the wall that you can barely notice. So if you don't have a water bottle whoever made this building doesn't care if you're thirsty. The chairs in the auditorium are awful and you'll slide right off them. The tutorial room in the upper floors have an unnecessary number of television screens that are too close to the tables so they're either right in your face, or blocked by someone else's head. The whole building is a mess and they did not account for user experience.
