Thank you to Shawn, Mike and Shelley who were absolutely amazing hosts. Our group was there for two consecutive nights the week of February 25-March 1st. The food and hospitality is out of this world good. We are already discussing our next trip to that area and staying at Halfway Haven will be a must.

My wife and I were recently on a snowmobile trip where we stopped in at Halfway Haven for fuel and a good meal. During the ride back to the Sault she caught an edge in a corner and flipped her snowmobile injuring herself. Our only choice was to double back to Halfway Haven late in the night as she was injured. She suffered three fractured ribs and hematoma in her chest. We arrived late back at Halfway Haven. The staff opened their doors and took care of my wife through the night while I returned to get my vehicle to go and pick her up the next morning. Thank you to Darrell Hoag and Kim for taking such good care of her and our safety overall. If Halfway Haven did not exist this would be a different story only option would be an air rescue. As an avid snowmobiler I cannot express enough on how we as a snowmobile community need to support Halfway Haven during these difficult times due to Covid. It is a critical location to the sport and also serves as a rescue station in the middle of nowhere.Thank you again Darrell for your rescue efforts! Hats off to the staff at Halfway!Also I would like to thank Tommy Nitro , Scott Long and the Sault Trailblazers club for pulling out all of the stops to help us out and rescue the snowmobile. What a great club we have always looking out for each other. Thank you all!

Stayed there with my pup in September of 2014, on my way from Alberta to Ontario. Guess what? Moving back to Alberta, so will be my first place to crash for the night on the way back!!!! Save me a room in July!!!!!!Great folks! Friendly service. Loved it!!

Rode motorcycles/atv's/utv's here in July of 2018 and potentially the best trip I have ever made in my life! Sean is a solid dude. Tons of good food, the best stories, and amazing hospitality. I promise your gonna wanna tip this guy for your awesome experience so bring some extra cash (or dip =) )

Great place. Spent a couple of nights here over the years on snowmobile trips with friends. Warm fire, good drinks, Great food, it was prime rib night last time. Great owners. All the best. Thank you.

Clean friendly also has internet service.Took my dad here to go fishing and had a father - son outing.Very nice

This is a unique and awesome place to stop. Sledding is top notch, meals are great and of course 2 beautiful labs! Sean is a great host
