If you've never had Indian food you might think what was served is passable. This was quite possibly the worst food I've ever been served anywhere. The Onion Baji was disgusting, oil soaked on the outside uncooked batter on the inside. Vegetable Korma made from frozen vegetables, not great. Beef Vindalo had some chunks of beef but mostly what appeared to be ground beef and had a strange taste. I can't believe there is a trained cook in that kitchen. One person ordered steak medium rare and shrimp. The steak was extremely overcooked, they brought another and it was worse! Will never go back and will tell my friends to save their money.

Very great food for anyone. Not too spicy, but can be made spicier by request. I recommend to pretty much anyone because they have stuff for everyone. From Indian to basic Canadian food, they have it. Unfortunately, forgot to take a picture of the food because we were too excited to try it.

Friendly environment, awesome music, delicious food, friendly servers. Very prompt service for water & ordering food. Was my first time going there and will definitely be going back- the food was fantastic. From the samosas with the dipping sauces to the delicious dessert at the end, everything was tasty. The vegetarian option was surprisingly delicious (I'm not a vegetarian but those veggies & flavors were huge & yes, delicious). Thankful husband's parents introduced us to it! Was right up our alley on flavors, spices & deliciousness. We ordered the dinner for 4 which turns out to be 20ish a person (considering how expensive things are right now this is an amazing price for tasty food!)I wish I had taken pictures, but will next time - and I'm sure it'll be just as satisfying. Highly recommend.

I've wanted to try this place for so long, I love Indian food. I used to eat it when I lived in GTA often, even driving to brampton just to get an awesome samosas. Although most of the flavors were really good, it's not worth the price here, sorry. 23-30$ per dish, and we got maybe 5 or 6 cubes of chicken/meat in each dish, cubes not much bigger than chicken cubes found on a pizza. It was all sauce. I love sauce, so hence the star... But it was so disappointing. My husband was livid, so we definitely won't return, even to try the brunch or specials... We don't mind paying $$ or $$$, but it has to have value. Also, I specifically said no spice since we had children in our group, but I guess it got lost in translation in the kitchen bc some of the dishes were way too spicy for a kid. They all had to stick to the naan, which didn't seem like regular naan, and butter chicken (sauce lol)The service was nice and she was really friendly on the phone, so the tip was basically for her. Why is Indian food so expensive in Middlesex? Oh, well.

Disappointed! We stopped here for dinner because under the previous owners this was our favourite restaurant. This was our first time here since it changed ownership and we were pleased to see that yellow perch was still on the menu. That's what we ordered. It was a huge disappointment. Our $25.99 per plate meal consisted of 3 pieces of perch and fries. That's it! No coleslaw or salad not even a roll. Definitely not any value for the money. The one star was because we were greeted pleasantly and water was brought promptly to the table without asking.

Husband and I decided to give Wayside a try, a break from the usual pub or fast food in the St.Thomas area. We were not disappointed! Service was very friendly, the owner even came over to see how we were doing. Everything we ordered was prompt and hot. The food was delicious! Good portion sizes. We were very happy with our night out and will be returning in the future. The space is very lovely, nice and clean. Comfortable. Space is large enough to hold larger functions, which we will also keep in mind or recommend.

A very pleasant surprise in Talbotville. After driving by so many times we thought we would give it a try. It was excellent. Definitely on the agenda to try more dishes on a return visit. I'm literally regretting not stopping by sooner.Do yourself (and tastebuds) a favour and try their Indian food. Comparable to the good stuff you'll find in the GTA.Gracious host and service. Cozy atmosphere, although a little bit bright, could have the lights slightly dimmer in the dining hall to make the dining experience a bit more intimate.

The food itself was really good, but the price was incredibly high. It was roughly $35 per person for a dish and rice, no sides or drinks included. Because of the cost I am wary of recommending it to anyone. I will also say that their vegetarian options are amazing.

The service and friendliness of the staff at Wayside are excellent. The butter chicken is tasty and not overly spicy. We recommend it and will continue stopping here on our trips through the area.
