My experience with Royal York Property Management has been nothing short of incredible. Their maintenance team, especially Timela Vogli, has been on the ball, addressing all issues promptly..

I'm a property owner and this is the worst experience i've ever recieved from a property management company.They gave our only set of keys to the tenant and never made a set for themselves in case of emergencies.Then I had to go out of my way to oshawa from toronto to place a spare back in the lock box which they were suppose to go and make a copy for themselves. One week later when i visited the property to do maintenance the keys were gone. When I called Royal York they had no idea where the keys were.They have inflated rates for their services. They tried to charge me $300 to change out the heater filter. I denied that service and sent my own contractor that did it all for $100 and also left 5 spares for the tenant to change out in the future.If you like dealing with a call center from the other side of the world, then this is it.There is no personal relationship with the PM and you are always just another number to them. They never know whats happening with the property and only go by their notes and emails. If the owner of royal york (Nathan) sees this review, please contact me to have this resolved as I'm more than just upset at the moment with the service that I have gotten from your company. I've met Nathan and he seems to be a very smart professional. But unfortunately, you will never see him again and will only be dealing with his vitual staff that he hires from the other side of the world.

Very shaddy company. Stay away.Tried to hire them to rent out a property for me and it has been a disaster. Their contract is very one-sided and they tried to impose terms on you that are unreasonable. They are more interested in suing you that working in partnership.

I am a property owner and it was my fist time using a management company. I have the worst experience so far and I regret.1. Didn’t disclose all occupant list before signing the interest to rent contact.2. Even after several instructions that I would like to rent to a family, presented 1 tenant and made my unit a student housing.3. Didn’t ensure all utilities are transferred before tenant occupied.4. Last 8 month tenant doesn’t pay hot water rental and even after several follow up couldn’t recover the payment from tenant.5. Tenant violated lease term and city rental permit law by making unauthorized modification (made new drywall to make an extra room) . RYPM didn’t do anything after several follow ups.6. All lease terms are one sided. There is no term to enforce tenant.7. In 8 months changed property manager at least 5 times so the owner gets frustrated.8. Despite several request for a phone conversation they won’t return call rather some one will reply a mail which not going to deliver any output.9. At the very beginning of contact with you they will be very nice but you will feel the pain after renting if you are using their management service.10. All rules are about how to get money out of owner.Stay away from this company. I will never recommend them to anyone.
