I always enjoy my evenings at Whale Cove. The food is always good and is something different than the norm on the island.I was a bit disappointed this evening in the Goat Cheese Salad. The salad was priced at $12 and I truly found that pricey especially once it was served. It was 1 piece of cheese on just a simple bed of lettuce. I just feel there should have been a bit more to it for the price. Tasted wonderful just pricey.Looking forward to my next visit!

Restaurant review- We absolutely loved it here!!! Fresh REAL ingredients -no deep fried seafood here- prepared by the only legit chef on the island (or so locals say!). Usually a small menu- and definitely call ahead for reservations, as things are made ahead for the exact people dining. Cozy atmosphere, right by the water, you can tell that a lot of love went into maintaining this island gem! Plan to spend at least $80-$100 for two though, but it's well worth it! Wish we found this place sooner. :)

Great Dining experience in a secluded setting with Whale Cove view. This is a fine dining establishment with a homey and nautical theme and a varied menu. Delicious dishes and very friendly and professional staff.

Food was amazing, cottages are well maintained and very clean. Friendly staff and awesome location! I would highly recommend staying her if you get the chance.

Beautiful views from Orchardside. Rustic and tastefully decorated. Very clean and cozy. Well equipped. Nice fireplace and woodstove with plenty of firewood. Only one bathroom for this cabin/house. Nice restaurant as well.

Inn at Whale Cove Cottages
Cute place, we rented one of the cottages for a week. The place was nice but needs a heating system in the kitchen besides the wood fire stove. The silverware and the glasses/cups need some cleaning once in a while. I imagine some of their customers don’t pay too much attention on cleaning before they leave. The owner should be more patient and she needs to learn to offer a better customer service. Every time i talked to her she seemed bored or too busy. The restaurant food was good and the customer service in the restaurant was great.

Beautiful spot overlooking Whale Cove. Stayed in John 's Flat which was very comfortable. Great art on the walls and a fine library. Well equipped. Ate dinner one night at the inn. Very good dining! A chicken liver pate with cumbrrland sauce; vichyssoise; followed by fresh halibut with a tapenade topping on a bed of salad vegetables including beans, potatoes, red papper and greens; and a grilled steak with salad and green goddess dressing. Delightful. The best fresh bread as well !
