Elkwater Disc Golf Course

This 9-hole course follows the waterfront public park area, creating a beautiful backdrop. There are a few things that are a bit odd.The course does not finish at the same place where you start. You have to walk quite a way back when you finish.There are no arrows on the baskets indicating which direction to go for the next hole. There were pencils at hole #1 but no maps available when we played, so we had to rely on a map we found online.Each tee area has a numbered post but no sign with map or distance details. We ended up doing hole #2 incorrectly (teed off at #2 and went to hole at #3).There is a large gap from the end of the 3rd hole to the beginning of the 4th hole. It is a bit of a hike to the next hole.Still, disc golf is free and it is fun so we saw several groups enjoying the course. After you have played it once you are good to go for the future.
