The washrooms were cleaned regularly and the staff was terrific.Be aware that there is no staff to open the gate after 7:30 BUT you can pay a deposit to have a pass key if you come back after hours. Also note that if you have pets they must be leashed - we took the dogs elsewhere for play and swimming. There was a daycamp that woke us up each morning so we would stay farther away from the main building in future. The laundry room was locked but staff were happy to open it when we asked. We really liked the staff.

This was our first weekend camping with a trailer. We loved this campground so much. The lake was amazing. The campground was quiet and very peaceful. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The young staff working in the office doing boat rentals and stuff were also very good. The black flies were really bad but thats everywhere, can't do much about that. We liked it so much we will be back next weekend. The lots were a decent size and we had no issues at all.

Very nice camping to hide from the city heat and spend beautiful time with your family. Boating, fishing, nice clean cosy beach. Only put 4 and not 5 because of wi-fi hardly working at all ( you might even like it, as your kids do not freeze in phones).

It's a nice campground, the lake is beautiful. Sites are decent size, clean. It's a very relaxing place as long as you don't mind the sounds of boats on the lake. I don't, so I enjoy it there. Staff is very friendly. The downside is other than the beach, some paddle boats and kayaks, there isn't a lot for kids. The playground is very very old. My other gripe is with the booking. We've booked, shown up and they have no record of us booking, we've had won't dates booked. So call and confirm your dates!

We have lived on the Eastern Shore for 17 years and didn’t realize this campground existed until now. What a beautiful place, and very well maintained: the campground is clean and accessible and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The lake was great for our group, with perfect swimming conditions for all abilities (ages 4-45). The kids enjoyed riding their bikes all over the place, doing timed laps around all of the loops. We didn’t want to leave, will definitely be back every year!

Absolutely loved this campground. We had tenting site B22, no power or water, right beside the lake, which was good and bad. Good - view was awesome, close to washrooms and the marina. Bad - if you want to sleep in, families are there before 9 swimming. They sell ice and firewood -. 10.00 for a good size bundle. Quiet time is 10:30, and fires are to be out by 1:00. The marina is small, but so close it's really convenient. Would definitely go back!!!

A nice little campground, but the girl staff who worked children’s activities on Canada Day was extremely rude and not nice with the children And even some parents. She ruined the experience and if she is in charge of kid’s activities again my kids won’t be going. She had a smug look on her face, being snappy and irritated. Next time please choose someone who has patience with kids and knows how to interact better with them.

Usually a great campground but this time the staff weren’t the friendliest and some of the sites are extremely tiny. Both faucets for water hook up were leaking. Spoke to a few other campers in the sites nearby and they experienced similar issues. One couple tried coming in 15 minutes early and they were charged. (Even though site was empty).- said they will not be coming back. They’re strict on the 3 pm.I’ve never stayed at a campground that wouldn’t let you to your site early when it’s empty, and definitely have never been charged for being 15 minutes early. They also charge if you come with your siblings (if they’re adults) which i found very odd. They said no extra charge if they’re younger? What is the difference.

I have been going to this campground for over 26 years. It is family friendly and situated on a very large lake. I will say partiers should take a pass on this place because quiet time is strictly enforced.
