Allegro Danceworks Inc

This was our first experience with our three year. She LOVED going every Saturday. I have already signed her up for next year, and yes myself. I'm going to take a stab at it. I thought the recital was so great, and so well put together. I was glad to see the older kids. I thought the two older boys were amazing! Great to show my 9 year old son that even boys can dance and now he wants to try tap! Allegro is definately a great school.

Our daughter has danced at Allegro for 4yrs and our youngest will start in the fall. We have always been extremely happy at Allegro. The teachers are wonderful. A fantastic atmosphere and an amazing place to learn to dance. Thank you for all you do!

I have been teaching at Allegro for 5 years now and thouroghly enjoy the students and all of the staff. Having taught at many other studios across Ontario I can honestly say that the atmosphere at this studio is fabulous. The students are all very friendly with one another and the teaching staff adore the children. The director of the studio has the best interest of all the children and is very fair and kind to all whether they are in the intensive program or the recreational program. If you want your child to have fun and receive great dance training at the same time then Allegro DanceWorks is the school for you.

I started dancing at Allegro when I was 6, worked as an office staff member, and have been teaching there for several years now. I am so unbelievably grateful for everything the director and teachers have taught me, and all of the opportunities I have been given. You not only get terrific training in various styles of dance, but it is such a nurturing, team-oriented environment. I can't imagine my life without ADW!

I chose Allegro Danceworks because of the positive reviews I read on Google, and my 4 year old daughter took some classes there for 3 months. During the whole period, I had absolutely no contact with her dancing teacher. Of course parents were not allowed to go inside the dancing studio because of Covid, which is totally fine. However, at the end of each class, I was never informed about how it went, not a word, nothing. The only time somebody tried to reach out to me was to remind me to pay for the second trimester. I tried to make them understand what I felt and I was told that everything was going well for my daughter, which I found was a rather short update. They said that they were thinking about making a video to show the routine the children follow every week. A few days later, I received an impersonal email sent to all the parents telling that only some children would be part of the project (therefore, only the parents of those children will receive the video). As nobody took the time to inform me about it, despite my demands, I understood then that what my daughter learnt there will always be a mystery (she says that all she did was abs but I hope that she did more than that). They blame Covid and, of course, it has an impact, however my impression is that I dealt with a business company more than with passionnate people who strive to make every child florish. Definitely not what I was looking for my daughter. Whereas she has always been thrilled and excited to take dancing lessons at Louise Lapierre studio (in Montreal), she seemed relieved when I told her that she will no longer go to Allegro. I am sure they will not care or notice that she isn't there anymore, and I am convinced that they will always have many customers. I think we simply do not share the same values and I wish somebody had told me this before, which is the reason why I took some of my time to write this review.

I have only heard great things about this dance studio, I know many families that attend this school. The dedication, love and hard work the teachers put in week after week is surely appreciated by the families. My neice and granddaughter will definitely be attending when of age.

My daughter started with Allegro at 4yrs old and just loves to dance. The staff and teachers are incredible to work with and ensure the kids are truly enjoying all dance has to offer. The recital this past weekend highlighted the professionalism and passion within the school...not to mention the incredible talent. Well done ADW and thank you for having us as part of your dance family!

This dance school is about promoting the owner's children. We went to the recital last week to see if we would like it. The numbers were boring and repetitive. The theatre was pretty empty. The owner's kids were featured in almost every number. We were not impressed.

Our daughter was four when she started her dance classes at Allegro. We love the sense of belonging fostered by the instructors and the individual attention in moments of shyness. They truly go above and beyond.

My daughter is 3 and it's her first time taking dance lessons. She is so excited to go every weekend. She asks me frequently throughout the week if she has dance tomorrow. We chose Allegro for their fabulous reviews and kind staff. Communication has always been great so not sure what that 1 star review is about, if I have a question I always get a great response...my daughter loves her teacher, Miss Megan, who is always there to greet us at the door since we can't go in with covid and my daughter happily goes with her! For a mom with a child in dance for the first time, I'm very happy we chose Allegro!
