CEFA Early Learning Langley Walnut Grove

Cefa is the best daycare my two children have ever been to. There are not only very good learning equipment and environment, a large playground, very caring and responsible teachers, communicate with parents very often,but also very delicious meals, and they also be well prepared for children's birthdays. My kids look forward to coming to Cefa every morning, and they have a very close relationship with their teachers and friends at Cefa. Absolute 5 star!!!

CEFA Walnut Grove has been an amazing Childcare Centre for my daughter. The teachers at the school are truly fantastic and are passionate about what they do. She had some bumps along the way with adjusting to childcare when I went back to work and the teachers supported our entire family as she settled in. The Principal, Jennifer, is literally the most friendly person you could ever meet and has been so helpful in navigating the childcare journey. I know my daughter is getting the best care possible while I’m at work. She has so much fun each day and is learning and developing so quickly. Highly recommend CEFA Walnut Grove to parents looking for an awesome educational place for there little ones.

Our daughter attended Cefa Walnut Grove for three years. We always felt comfortable leaving her there. It is a well-run facility with bright, welcoming classrooms. Two of the biggest perks for us were the location (right at the entrance to Hwy 1) and the fact that meals were provided. Some of the teachers are really excellent and others are just okay, but I'm sure that's the case at all of the bigger centres. They do lots of fun activities with the kids (science experiments etc), particularly in the 3 and 4 yr old classrooms. I felt that they took Covid seriously and was impressed with their protocols (temperature checks etc.) Cefa is definitely pricey, but we found that most of the options in the Walnut Grove area were similarly priced. Overall, we were happy with our experience.

My daughter has attended CEFA Walnut Grove since she was 10 months old, she's now almost 5 and will be starting Kindergarten in the fall. I cannot say enough great things about this school. Not only has my daughter learned so much but she has built many relationships that will carry on past her Pre-K days. The teachers are exceptional; so patient and supportive. The Principal has always been attentive, responsive and accommodating and the Owner is heavily involved in operations. So much so and one of the reasons I chose CEFA 5 years ago, was because when I went for the tour Preet knew EVERY child's name. In a school of 100+, that's pretty impressive and goes to show how much the staff truly care about the children and their families. My son will be attending in November and I look forward to another 4 years with this crew.

Withdrawal issues..How many families has this happened to?Our son attended Cefa walnut grove for a year.Our clear parent agreement we signed said 30 day withdrawal notice. We gave a 40 day withdrawal notice, to be told that their new parent agreement (that we had not seen or signed) was changed to a 45 day notice. After speaking with the new principal Michelle, we were told Preet(owner) would honour our original contract and returned our deposit. This was said at the front desk with other families present. Upon opening the envelope when we returned home, it was less than a third of our deposit.Mister Bernard is amazing, our son would truly loved him. He taught with connection, I unfortunately can’t say that about other teachers.

I have been working here for more than a year and i must say… I love working here. The environment is very friendly and all the staff is very cooperative. The schedule is really helpful for children’s growth and development.

Right from the original phone call, CEFA Walnut Grove stood above all other options for me.They showed great compassion for my situation and even made time for me to visit THAT afternoon.The first visit was going to be the real test for me but my 18 month old daughter immidiately felt safe and comfortable with the staff. They are all so kind and genuinely love the children there.The curriculum is great as well and I even get updates with pictures throughout the day to show me what she is up to.But the best part is dropping her off every morning, watching her walk into her classroom and give her teacher a big hug!Then turning to me and waving bye bye!The best feeling!Thank you CEFA

Our daughter attended Cefa Langley Walnut Grove in 2019 with high hopes. It came as a recommendation from friends who attended another location. We liked the security and that you could watch your child at any time. We came from Kids & co so we were used to excellent service. We ended up being very disappointed and found a new facility 10 months later. There were concerns of cleanliness, professionalism from the owners and principle, rotating new staff, hidden fees, treatment of employees, yoga not practiced as advertised…just to name a few. I found a number of times no one attending the front desk as I entered, this concerned me as the security was at the forefront of importance. I would definitely read through all the reviews before choosing this facility. Also if you were to add up the cost of uniform and all the days the facility takes off for parent teacher interviews it is very expensive. There are better options out there. On a positive note, our daughter made some very good friends that we keep in touch with and we do remember with fondness a couple very nice teachers.
