Vecova's Bottle Depot

Friendly staff. Feel like we get an accurate count everytime we go. And glad to support the society and people working with disabilities.

I could not get my bottle pay exactly. so I complained it, they gave a bit of coins... They are so strange counted..

During the heat of Covid this was a drive through bottle depot and it was amazing so easy to return, not anymore it’s reverted back to its old slow ways which is mighty unfortunate. still a good bottle depot and still faster than others

super clean facility and easy to return the bottles and it’s pretty quick too so you don’t wait very long if someone is ahead of you

Watched them steal everything under 25 cents, I brought in 5 bags and left with scraps of change. Why are you so shady? Do better. Never returning.

with all due respect, teach our staff how to count. I brought two boxes of smashed cans and juice boxes. the guy through 5-pack of cans for 12 times at least. when I went to cashier, I got $ 1.6 for 0-1 li (16 bottles!!!!!). I told them that I am pretty sure he made a mistake, but no action. how on earth the two boxes of smashed bottles would be 16!!!!!!!!!!

This may be a long shot, but I see that the owner sometimes will respond to reviews.I keep trying to call, but for some reason can never get through.I’ve never even visited this bottle depot, I am just looking for someone. I’m not even sure that he still works for you, but I figured it was worth a shot and maybe you’d be able to point me in the right direction, or pass a message along for me.I am looking for my uncle. His name is Ronald Trevor Halverson and he worked for this bottle depot for around 10-20 years. Starting in the 90s. I haven’t had contact with him in close to 15 years because of a family split. I miss him dearly and would love to be able to have contact with him once again.So if anyone could help me, that would be amazing. Thank you so much I’m advance for any help you may be able to give me.

There is no way the reviews should be this high.This is the worst supervisor in any business I’ve went into.The supervisor- the guy who you look at and he looks like he needs a smoke, must really hate his job to pick on customers and go out of his way to try and refuse service.Worse staff member- the guy on the cash register with white hair I’ve ever ran into in any business.Extremely rude, so much so more reviews will be posted. I hope more customers turn away due to this one person.

Nothing but positive things. Not usually too busy. Goes fast. Grest locatiom (Crowfoot bottle can sometimes be sketchy). Some counters are now automatic and accurate. People are relatively nice but mostly quiet. Always come here and never have had an issue

While the location is great, clean and managed with COVID-safety in mind…I have unfortunately had a series of miscounted returns at Vecova’s Bottle Depot.To avoid having too much spare change, I take the time to count exactly what is required for an “even” return in $5 increments. In every occasion except for one, the automated counters have miscounted my recycling returns. I have done everything I can in most visits to politely assure of the counted total, from trying to slow the counting process for accuracy, to demonstrating the initial boxes everything was held within: separating cans into clear cut groupings of 12 or 24’s, for example. But despite my best efforts, the total never seems to be accurate.At the end of the day, it’s not about the money, but a factor of inconvenience (to go through the trouble of triple checking my counts to a certain dollar total, only to have the amount consistently discredited at the hands of the automated counter).In each instance, I now end up bringing 4-6 extra cans on every occasion to inevitably counteract the miscount… when this happens, I happily donate the remaining cents above and beyond the round number I “should have” been paid… but my point and hope would have been that the correct valuation be determined outright.Ultimately, I can tell this is an organized operation, and a non-profit I will continue to support through our household returns… but I do wish there was greater accuracy with the automated counters, or perhaps, an ability to ensure small-total, organized returns such as mine could be counted without the machinery.For others seeking an exact return amount as I have, even after trying to assert a manual recount or review, I would unfortunately recommend bringing extra items for return… as I’ve consistently been left having to return more than I should have.
