Ox 'n' Cart Lions Campground

We spent the night heading from BC back to Ontario. Great little camp ground with plenty of hot water. Wood is only $3.00 an armful and the site only $20.00. Can't go wrong with that to pitch a tent. Park like setting for kids too. Washrooms are pretty gross so keep your shoes on. There is also a Hornets nest in the wood pile outside the shed and they attacked me. Left a note in the money box to advise them. I got stung 3 times. Would be very upsetting for this to happen to an elderly person or a young child. We would go back for an overnight stop. They keep the park tidy and it is small too. Only one other camper the same night as us.

Nice campground. Friendly and accommodating host. Watch out for the ticks

Interesting place

Really cool campground. Trees to be protected from the wind, fireplaces and firewood. Perfect place to spend the night. You can also find a place to eat inside the rink, just a few hundred meters away.
