The produce is fine but the male owners were being rude to a female lady in the vegetable section and shouting at her for adding a little something extra for the customer. It creates a negative shopping experience. Not going to support businesses where employees are not treated well. I rather shop at the store in front of them which also has cheaper prices.

If you are looking for fresh fruits in downtown Toronto, perhaps, this is the best place to grab some. They have a lot of varieties of fruits, some are fresh cuts, ready to eat. This shop is located inside the St Lawrence market. We tried their fresh cuts, and they were awesome. The gentleman working here was nice and friendly. We had a positive experience and I would definitely recommend this place.

We love stopping here for our weekly fruit run. Right now blackberries are in season and the ones here are sooo sweet. They are worth the visit!

Rarely visit St. Lawrence without getting a perfectly curated fruit salad at the entrance from Ponesse. Every cut of fruit in the salad is ripe and sweet, particularly the mango and melon.

From the TooGoodToGo app $5 and 80% of the items still good for the next 3-6 days. 2 tomatoes bruised and pretty much must be used today, one blood orange bruised and speck of mould. Overall interesting experience - will make me a more adventurous cook.

I absolutely love this place. Freshest produce in the area. They also carry unique fruits that i cannot be purchased from the grocery store. Worth visiting.

Facing the exit door, they are on the left. Facing into the market, they are on the right, and as pointed out by some, there are two different vegetables/fruits stall.They sell very fresh seasonal produce from brussel sprouts, heirloom tomatoes, mushrooms, fruits etc.Staff is uber friendly and helpful, just ask and they will be glad to help you out. The owner is Italian (hope I didn't get this wrong) so do pardon the spelling sometimes.Prices are reasonable for the selection and quality of foods. I would recommend coming here to get consistently fresh seasonal vegetables which are usually a little inferior at the big name supermarkets as they don't put stuff that's turning bad on display for sale.

A family business since 1903. Located on the Upper Floor and just inside the Front Street entrance. There are two fruit and vegetable stands that are right beside each other. Make sure you pay at the right cash register! Beautifully merchandised with a great selection of produce and fruits. Some are prepared and cut up ready to be eaten.
