Dr Qian Jingfang

I went here to remove my wisdom teeth, but after cutting my gums open Dr. Qian said my tooth is too deep and he doesn't want to risk it. He referred me to a specialized dental surgeon (406 Blvd St-Joseph E) and they removed it while making it look easy.So I would recommend a specialized surgeon if you need a rather difficult surgery.

My daughter went to Dr. Qian today. This was an exellent experience. The clinic is organized well. Two patients would not meet each other for the senitary and safety. Dr. Qian was not only professional, but also patient. He let us choose the materials for filling, telling the pros and cons of different materials. My daughter felt very good during and after the treatment, without any pain. She felt the filling very smooth, just like her own teeth.

The dent himself was ok 4/5 but the overall service was extremely terrible due to the very rude front desk lady there 0/5. She is not polite at all. They kept chatting in Cantonese while checking up on u as well. Long appointment waiting time. Expensive. Would not recommend.

Depending on how lucky you feel you are, your experience with this clinic varies from heaven to hell.The clinic has close to zero management on its schedule, capacity, and staffs. The front desk is rude. Don’t get me wrong, they starts to be nice but when you raise concerns things will go south.What concerns? You may ask. Well, the clinic has zero respect for its own appointments. You may be told to come at 4, but wait for two hours without seeing a doctor, only being told that the doctor is busy with another patient, and nobody has any idea when it will be your turn.“You just need to wait. You always have to wait to see a doctor”Well, no. At least that’s not true with most dentists in Montreal. I can take an appointment at 2pm and tell my boss I’ll be off for a dentist, and with great confidence that I can return to work within 2 hours, even in this crazy chaotic world full of covid. Otherwise, what’s the point of taking an appointment?The reason behind this, per my observation, is that the clinic only seems to have 2 doctors, and most of time only one is on duty. Like I said, they have poor management and are constantly overbooked, presumably intentionally. The doctors seem to have no idea about schedule, time slot, decent estimation about the amount of work, etc. Once he starts on a patient, you better pray he’s not surprised by a complicated treatment that he failed to foresee during all examinations. Because if that’s the case, he will stick to this lucky patient with enormous patience and passion to make that patient happy, feeling being treated with the best care one could possibly expect. As for your appointment at 4 o’clock, that you carefully scheduled during a workday? Who cares! There are more than 5 patients waiting in line, all of which have fixed an appointment a week ago? Who cares!And when you raise your concerns about overly extended waiting time and request to estimate how much longer your have to wait, the front desk starts to show their true face. “You just need to wait”. Yeah…Now, this is not what every patient has been through. I’m sure there are few lucky patients who didn’t suffer from a dishonest appointment. I’m sure there are few others who enjoyed the beyond expectation care they received, and hence there are some good sayings about this clinic, understandably.However, at the end of the day, the bottom line is, will you be the lucky one?Think twice!Oh yeah, you may be able to save a few bucks if your insurance does not cover dental here, up to you.For me? Nah

I arrived on time of the appointment for toothwash,the receptionist and the dental hygienist chatted with a guy who came later while I was waiting beside. Long time after the appointment, I asked them when they could receive me, and the dental hygienist said unhappily that she still needed time to prepare . I told them that it’s not a good way to handle their clients , but they said :we don’t need you alone and you don’t need come here !!! I don’t know why they can neglect the clients so badly. Now we have more and more dentists speaking Chinese in Montreal, why not choose another one?
