Amazing shop! Went in knowing absolutely nothing but the staff were super helpful, nice and knew so much. I left with my first pair of skates and new laces and stoppers. Definitely will go again!

Nitro Skates is a small family owned business, run by two awesome, friendly and knowledgeable people. I’ve already got a few things from them, and I’ll be buying more in the future. They also built my Vans setup for me and did an amazing job/were very thorough and checked in with me to make sure I was happy with them (which I am!) I highly recommend this shop to any skater in Toronto, and beyond!

Excellent customer service! Affordable prices for top quality items for roller skating. I bought some protective gear here and was able to try them on to make sure they were a good fit. A lot of cool accessories available as well, that I will definitely be coming back for. Thankful for a shop in Toronto that specializes in roller skating equipment just in time for summer! I would recommend it to anyone looking into making the trip here.

I was looking for a store that is dedicated to roller skating as some other places I have looked at are not. The drive to Toronto was worth it, I'll be going here from now on for all my skating needs. I've been skating for just over a year and David and his family were so helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming, my experience was truly excellent and I was happy to support a family run business. This shop is such a treasure! I have been obsessing over getting into roller skating for ages and I am so happy we came here to get my first set. The staff were so friendly and answered all our questions and made sure I was comfortable and felt no pressure to buy anything. My skates are gorgeous and great quality and I am super happy with the safety gear we picked up as well! I will definitely be back and I will absolutely be looking into their beginners classes they offer nearby!

I have to share my experience with Nitro Skates and how knowledgeable the staff was, particularly David!! I had gone in initially to purchase the RollerBones wheels as I noticed that they were at least $15 -$20 cheaper than Amazon and I could go in and pick them up on the same day. I went in and spoke to David, he was extremely helpful and even suggested I replace my cushions on my skates as it would allow more movement, it was $20 extra, so it wasn't a lot but it did make a huge difference while I was skating. He even installed them in which was above and beyond my expectations and I really appreciated that service!! I realized when I got home that I actually purchased the 62MM wheel instead of the 57MM and I had opened the plastic. I called to let them know what had happened and they immediately said as long as you haven't worn them, we can exchange it for you. I went back and thank goodness they had one pair of 57MM left and I was able to exchange my wheels.I can't say enough of how kind and knowledgeable the staff were, great to know they are here locally to answer questions and provide us with all our skating needs and accessories. Went to the store today to price out a custom set up and it was such a lovely experience! I asked David a million questions and he patiently answered all of them. They were also super well stocked despite the relatively small space (they had the biggest selection of slide blocks I’ve ever seen in one shop). Highly recommend stopping by for any of your roller skating needs!!

Ordered a bunch of gear and roller-fancery from Nitro and my order was processed almost immediately and arrived super fast and accurately. Also came with super cute stickers and a sweet note. Great for an impatient and eager overgrown child like myself. Thanks guys!!

Excellent service. Highly recommend them. I wanted equipment for my roller skates but wasn't sure my choices were right for my needs, or fit my setup. I'm glad I could visit in-store instead of just buying online. David was super-helpful and made sure I was taken care of.
