Era-Banner The
Asked to stop having this bundle of flyers/blue bin filler delivered because 1. we don’t want or need it, and 2. because the guy delivering was always hopping the fence between houses and stepping in my gardens. Took several tries but they finally stopped. Until now. New people delivering from a van who don’t speak English and so do no understand when we repeatedly tell them we don’t want the paper. How do we make it stop again??

My wife and I walk frequently and have a pet peeve regarding the weekly newspaper delivery eye sore in many neighbourhoods...two issues here, the person delivering the paper throws them on the driveway and sometimes at the curb cut so the paper sometimes is on the road....sometimes it rains and there is no plastic bag, so the paper gets wet, so I guess people leave them there and it becomes someone else's problem... see picture

Quit allowing the papers to be thrown everywhere. Put newspaper boxes and let people choose if they want it, littering isn’t cool

Although I appreciate that a local newspaper is important to many people, it is not to me. I feel like the paper is 90% advertising, and it goes straight from my mailbox into the recycle bin. In an attempt to reduce the paper waste, I've asked the paper to stop being delivered to my home. Although I have emailed, called (even speaking to someone at Metroland directly), and asked the mail carrier not to give me the Newmarket Era Banner - the paper keeps coming every Thursday. I don't want it anymore, and I get frustrated when I see it in my mailbox then recycle box every week.

I was just trying to find out how I can stop the delivery of this useless paper and then I read the reviews and see it's impossible. This newspaper should be fined for littering. Everyone should start dumping it on their driveway.

In my opinion, I feel those who work in the office's distribution department are totally inept. Over the years I have told them I don't want this paper delivered and yet it takes MULTIPLE calls to get them to stop. Then, a few months later, this paper (which grossly wastes plastic bags) appears on my driveway yet again. Beyond incompetence. 10 year olds listen better than them in my opinion.

My family and I were recently at a wonderful restaurant in town. GROUND BURGER BAR, unbelievable food, amazing presentation and atmosphere. Had a chance to talk with the owner Grant, and I just wanted to say I have already sent a review into the Food Network!!!! Everything was delicious, mouthwatering, and magnificently presented. Prices were more than fair! Welcome to town!! Hopefully you see John Cattucci soon!Mindy
