Fab Fete

When my now wife, Dana initially connected with Kayla, I never would have thought a planner could do as much as Kayla did for us. She went to the moon and back to make our special day such a breeze. Leading up to it was so unstressful (for myself) since I knew Kayla had it all covered.. she had made sure all the vendor were in sync well before the day. And on the day we had nothing to worry about. We got to enjoy our own wedding!!! I hear people don't get to do that often :)I can go on and on about how amazing the service was but I think you get the point. Ask for Kayla! And Mirit was amazing as well!

Mel and her team were honestly amazing and we were so lucky to have them support us throughout the day. Especially factoring in the million things that went wrong, they got defensive when needed, but kept the positive energy up. They were organized, attentive and a welcomed addition to my nuptials. Seriously could not thank you enough!!!!

From start to finish Kayla was more than I could have ever imagined from a coordinator. A friend recommended to me that a coordinator was very helpful in terms of organising the lead up to the wedding and the wedding day. I honestly do not think our wedding would have run nearly as smoothly & beautifully as it did without Kayla, she was an integral part of making this happen. We were able to focus on the fun, emotion, love, joy and happiness of the day because Kayla so seamlessly coordinated everything from behind the scenes. She does the organization as well as the hard work (she helped us manually bring all our items to the venue) and her willingness to help was unmatched. I will forever be grateful to how she executed the organisation of our wedding with decisiveness and kindness, she communicated so well with everyone - from vendors to friends & family. Thank you a thousand times over!

If I could give no star I would! 6 months later and I am still so unsettled and their half apology. Do NOT book your wedding with any of these wedding planners. They do not care about your wedding, you’re just another event for them to skim through with the bare minimum of efforts. They were mean, condescending, rude and we would have preferred not having them there at all on our wedding day. They made the day more stressful than if they weren’t there. Melanie especially was indifferent and couldn’t care less about the bride/groom or guests. Her comfort was most important, if it’s too hot out (which it wasn’t by any standard) she changed the wedding itinerary photo location without telling us to fit her comfort. She didn’t go out of her way for anything. She claimed she was injured from a previous wedding and left half way through our wedding because of it. It’s mind boggling as to why she even came in the first place! We’re not insensitive to someone being injured but then please don’t conduct our wedding if you are unable to in the first place! It’s not a party, it’s our wedding day! And she not did her company care in the least bit.She misplaced all our wedding items and lost my phone by giving it to a random wedding guest. Had to leave our hotel the next day early to go and find it!What a mess. See my notes below on why not to book a company who does not care for their clients or weddings. They should be in the birthday party business at the very worst. They shouldn’t be doing parties either.people such as guests and wedding party came up to us saying how awful our wedding planner is. She would blatantly ignore them when they were trying to make things easier bc she clearly wasn’t-our ceremony was a complete mess. She did not know how a Jewish ceremony goes and did not follow my requests.The groom walked alone! I didn’t walk w my father! She did not ensure room on the aisle and she told the grooms parents to not wait for the groom-wedding planner said “this is why a wedding rehearsal is important” im sorry but it doesn’t take much to tell someone to stop half way to wait for the groom instead you tell them to keep going? If a wedding rehearsal is so important then why didn’t she suggest one in the first place? She barely made ANY suggestions unless I digged for one.-did not clean up for bedeken photos (food would have been in my photos and when told about it she ignored the guests so the guests cleaned it up for us-wedding planner did not provide photo list to photographers and we missed a bunch of photos. We did not ask for photos with individual bridesmaids/groomsmen and because we did take those we missed photos with siblings and the kids.-Michael was in pain in his shoes and we asked the wedding planner to bring down socks from Michael’s sister. We waited 45 mins and didn’t take photos until we gave up, it took over an hour to get them. This put him in even more pain for our photos as we waited around and took time away from our photo session.-misplaced items: gave brides cellphone to another wedding guest and we had to message guests that same night trying to find the phone and had to pick up the phone the next day early in the morning when we should have been relaxing after our wedding.-misplaced items: removed items such as suitcase and talit bag from the bridal suite which could not be located at the end of the night and we had to take a day off work to go and pick up the found items.-wedding planner could have assisted with leftover dessert and did not-she added stress, she did not try to destress us instead she was rude and condescending. Telling the groom things like “start smiling” or “I don’t know what you want, it’s a big castle” because Michael had to run around organizing the photo ops.-should not have taken on the wedding if she was injured from a previous wedding. It’s not a birthday party, it’s an expensive complicated wedding.-she made our day more stressful than if she wasn’t even there at all which would have been preferable in the end since she made things worse.

Michelle worked with us on our wedding this July. We selected the month before and day of package. She did an excellent job! We were very relaxed and got to enjoy our special day because we knew Michelle had everything under control. She is extremely sweet and personable! She responds quickly and you can tell she has wedding planning and coordination down to a science. You know you have a good wedding coordinator when your vendors say oh we love working with her!" Highly recommend her and her company

Bad attitude for a wedding planner. During covid, Tamara sent a few emails for vendor recommendations and then we cancelled our wedding due to covid and she thought it was okay to not refund us over $3000!!! A few emails and phone calls are not deserving of that much money. She also knew we were on a tight budget for our wedding and had no empathy for us! I was surprised at her lack of empathy, considering she seemed like the nicest most sincere person when we first met her at the initial consultation!

We cannot begin to thank Tamara and Paola enough for their help on our big day. Tamara listened carefully to my requests and took care of every tiny detail to perfection. They were prepared to handle any problem that the wedding party or our families brought to them. Tamara created an easy to follow itinerary that suited our needs, and managed the entire day so that we could enjoy every aspect of it knowing that things were under control. We would highly recommend Fab Fête!

We are so glad we chose to work with Fab Fete. Michelle was incredible to work with. She was quick to respond to emails and phone calls and made sure our wedding vision became our reality. Her and Tamara made sure our special day was flawless! I cannot thank them enough for making our dream come true! I highly recommend Fab Fete!
