Court Office

They were so incredibly accommodating in terms of paying our ticket. The lady was so friendly.

Staff was extremely rude, power hungry and not helpful at all. They talked to me as if I was doing something wrong and made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe, when I needed safety the most, as I was there to report abuse I had been facing. Not impressed.

Went to the Steinbach Court House and there was a sign on the door said that between 12:30 and 1:30pm was a lunch break and no one would be available at the desk. It was 1:50pm and there was still no one there, I was waiting for a couple of minutes before someone came out carrying a container of food wearing yoga pants and a bright colored sweater. They did help me to acquire a form for a Peace Bond and tell me a little of what it was about, but when I asked how I would be able to get in contact with a lawyer they did not give me an answer.A government office building of any kind should always have an employee available and they should be dressed appropriately, yoga pants are not office appropriate.

The rudest lady in there at the ticket counter. If I EVER have to pay a ticket again. I will most definitely drive all the way into the city. No need to talk to people the way she did. And then wouldn't even answer any questions. Saying It doesn't matter". Wow."

Unfriendly and rude staff. Went there a couple times to pay tickets but it's every time the same. I don't understand why people who hate serving people work in such environments.

I came at 12:00 at noon and wait until 1:30 pm. I didn’t know that court has one and half hour lunch break. I requested lady working in office that I have to go back on work but she didn’t listen and said I can’t do anything lunch break is until 1:30 pm. I only had to received document which took only 5 min and they let me wait for one and half hour. Pathetic.

I'm a person of visible minority. I went to the office today (March 15, 2022 around 11:30am) to enquire about the small courts claim procedure and whether or not I can file it at this office. The staff (she) was very unprofessional and rude - need some serious training or counseling for her attitude. Living on tax-payer money and showing such attitude, doesn't make sense at all. If she has a bad day, she should stay at home.I'm a public servant as well (Govt. of MB employee), and I'll never treat anyone like this - regardless of their colour, race or gender. I wish there was no star option.

Paying off a ticket is annoying/depressing enough. Rude staff makes it ten times worse. If this were an actual business, I can't see it lasting more than a week.

Called in to ask a question, as I was advised by two dispatch locations only to be spoken to as though she couldn’t be bothered to do her job.“I’m returning your call.”“I don’t know why the detachments send you all here. I deal with domestic and peace bonds only. I can’t help you so stop calling.”As a long time customer service representative, I’ve never experienced such horrific attitude. If you don’t want to do your job, leave.

Lady with the glasses has a nasty attitude, very unpleasant to deal with
