I dined at the Keg Steakhouse with two friends. The service was good, the food was excellent.I have never noticed the Chicago option for steak prep on the menu before. I had the Ribeye, medium-rear Chicago style and it was delightful. (Chicago style, apparently, means charred and not simply seared).3 people, 3 steaks, 3 smiling faces. I'd definitely go back.

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Kanata/Stittsville
The food was amazing. I had the French Onion soup and Twin Lobster Tail and rice dinner, along with the warm bread. However, it was too good in fact that I gorged myself and got sick all over and embassing myself. Thankfully, our server Julie was extremely kind and understanding and was very quick to help and clean up. I assured her it was 100% on me and the food was not to blame, as I apologized profusely, yet she still felt empathy for me as she mentioned she shares a similar experience and assured me it was okay. She then offered to bring me some fresh cold water and gingerale while I washed up and caught my breath outside. Her outstanding customer service skills are indeed something to behold and I strongly feel that all current and future servers should strive to do their job as well as she does. I hope that training new employees and a higher form of corporate customer service and support is something that she persues in her career. Thanks so much for the hospitality, Julie!

We visited for the first time last weekend and it is a beautiful location. Modern but still very cozy and private, perfect for a date. Our server Marco was absolutely exceptional, his recommendations were spot-on. The steak was super tender and cooked perfectly, the calamari was absolutely amazing - I could sit and eat that all night! Even the complimentary bread that came out warm from the oven smelled so good. 100% recommend. Completely worth the 2 hour drive from Pembroke for me.

During summer, their outdoor patio is a delightful spot to enjoy a meal while basking in the pleasant weather.The menu at The Keg is a compilation of mouthwatering dishes, with a focus on premium steaks. The quality of their meat is truly exceptional, always cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature. My personal favorite is the Prime Rib, which is consistently tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Equally impressive are their variety of sides, from the crispy fries to the perfectly cooked vegetables, all complementing the main dishes wonderfully.Their selection of wines, beers, and cocktails is diverse and thoughtfully curated. I went for my birthday and ordered a well done top sirloin steak. I got a hard dry thin burned steak very disappointing. I had to wait for my server about 10 min. while the rest of the party was unconfortabley reluctant to start without me. Server came and said that is how a normal well done steak looks like. She asked me to cut the meat in half and deemed calmy that it was okay. The taste of charcoal in my mouth, the taught of getting cancer not okay. Awful place and service, if you are in the mood of this type of food, I suggest you to try another location.

What an absolute treat of an evening at the Keg. This was our first visit to this location in Kanata and it will not be our last. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was incredible. The hostess held open the main door as we entered, and we were taken directly to our pre-reserved table. We were looked after perfectly, and our service was excellent. Fresh bread, drinks, and main courses were excellent. Our server stopped by after the first few bites to confirm we were happy. Other restaurants take notes.. that is the proper way to impress a customer. It was my 50th birthday, and I could not have asked for a more perfect evening. The next day we got an email from the manager thanking us for choosing the Keg! What a fantastic experience. Please do yourself a favour and make this Keg restaurant a priority. You will not be disappointed. We weren't. Thank you Keg.

Very friendly service. Asked for a medium steak and it was very soft and cooked perfectly. Portions were very filling and came with complimentary bread.
