A great way to spend an hour or two.The host is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. This ain't your average wine tasting.With lots of free samples of all the wines, you are bound to buy a bottle or two!

It was a few weeks ago when we visited this winery with friends. I purchased a bottle of pear wine. The bottle did not have a label and that was fine. However, 2 weeks later when I opened the bottle the wine had turned into a ‘vinegar’ flavour. I ended up pouring the wine down the drain. Not sure how this happened. An older bottle perhaps. Definitely rethinking why the bottle did not have a label now. Did they know it was bad and not having a label I couldn’t prove it was their wine? The reason doesn’t really matter, but pretty certain I won’t be trying their wine again.

Best winery I've been to in a long time. This is by far the best in the area. They have an amazing selection of all kinds of fruit and berry wines, even some I have never herd of. The owner is an very friendly guy that makes the trip even better, just walk in and ask how does this tasting work" his response will make you chuckle the rest of your trip."

We were in from out of town and wanted to try out this winery for their fruit wines. Michelle was so helpful in helping us decide what flavors to try since they are not doing tastings at the moment. Very patient and kind. Our wines we picked our delicious and she seems like such a sweet lady owning a wonderful little business!

Within a 2 week period, my wife and I have bought dozens of wines from all over Essex County and Up and around Traverse City Michigan. This place is our favourite so far. Small and many samples to try.

Very nice store. Super friendly people. Delicious wine.!!!! Love the fact that you can sample the wine before you buy any. Very good selection and variety of sweetness levels. Will go back again and again.!!

Great little place to pick up some yummy fruit wines! Can't wait until they open for tasting next season.
