I highly recommend the Calgary Blizzard Soccer Club if you’re looking to get your child involved in organized sports or if you’re interested in joining an adult league. It focuses on long-term skills, not just the short-term to win, encourages the best in all players and will ensure all players have a strong understanding of the game. It also provides great opportunities for youth to compete across the world against some of the best teams. With the Calgary Blizzard Soccer Club you or your child are sure to have an exceptional soccer experience!

I found this place very disorganized and the communication AWFUL! I’m disappointed in this place to act like this during the pandemic especially shame on them and their staff! My son went here for 2 sessions prior to the lock down and he enjoyed it so much. I received the emails in the beginning and they stopped. They ignored all my phone calls, emails, messages on Facebook until I threaten to go higher up then they started to answer me on social media. I don’t recommend this organization their communication is awful. I asked for a refund hopefully I will receive this. Other than that my son had a lot of fun during the session so I have to give them a 3 star for this it’s just the communication and responses on my end and frustration I mean it is 300 dollars of my money that I barely had to put my son is something that he needed after being in the home for how many months... sad .. we came across the city for this place too so it sucks this all happened oh well. I wont recommend...

By far the worst club. You pay out the nose to have your child yelled at instead of taught. You get no communication no replies to emails. Played barely at all for indoor because of covid. Zero refunds at all. They dont make their teams with goalies so then they force girls to play goalie when they never ever have. So if you want your child to play for a club that doesnt care to properly teach them tech and skills and instead yell at them when they mess up then i guess this club is for you.

PSA: Our experience was of a very badly managed club. They made a team of newbies, put them in a too high tier, and gave them a coach who only turned up to 50% of the games and training sessions.Surprise, surprise they lost every game by 8 - 13 goals. The coach blames the boys and the parents. The club doesn't answer emails.Buyer beware!

Poorly managed. No office to contact in person. No response and responsibility. No one picks a phone. One side contract. No one accountable for anything. To get more kids they promise something and after getting registration you are bound by one sided contract.Read fine line before registration.

We Have 4 boys in the blizzards program and it feels like more of a family then just an average soccer team! It’s a great club made up of an elite team of coaches, managers and administrators who are extremely dedicated and passionate to provide the best possible training to advanced the players and parents in there soccer knowledge and skills!!

My biggest mistake is recently joining this club – not once but twice. I had my daughter in the Blizzards soccer club when she was around 7 years old and her love for soccer died that season. It was regained when we switched clubs and we never looked back…..until this season. Shame on me for not learning my lesson the first time. They only care about their Elite players. All started with Evals where the evaluators only had eyes on their highest tiered players. Should have been my first sign of things to come. They've ignored emails on more than one occasion and phone calls when trying to get clarification on the most recent Letter to Members" on Feb 22

There's no perfect organization. The management requirements behind this size of an enterprise makes pleasing everyone impossible. However, in my opinion the clubs around Calgary are victim to the CMSA whom is in need of major upgrades in regards to their ability to organize, coordinate and schedule what is admittedly a large amount of variables. One would think after so many years many of these things could be streamlined. One HORRIBLE aspect of this is shown in their complete inability to give a concrete schedule prior to sign up. Parents are dealing with all sorts of schedule stresses, it would be a MASSIVE plus for an extra-cirricular organization to relieve pressure for parents, not add to it.The Blizzards Club was thoroughly enjoyed by both my boys. I think parents as coaches isn't always ideal for the more committed players but it's just par for the course until they prove themselves and move up on the competitive ladder. Parents should be grateful for these amazing volunteers and when committed, the volunteer coaches should attempt to do some research on how to coach effectively for the betterment of each child. I think Blizzards should be running coach camps at the begginning of the year where they bring in all the volunteers and offer them a free training session.A lot of the negative reviews are likely associated with the CMSA and to be honest I witnessed firsthand quite a few ridiculous parents who I imagine are a headache to deal with from an organization standpoint. You can't please everyone at this scale, but Blizzards staff were certainly all friendly and the skills trainers were all mostly engaged and good with the children. Communication was good when dialogue was required, although the phone lines don't seem to be easily accessible at times. All in all 4 on 5!Thank you Blizzards.

I have called this clubs multiple times and have sent emails in an attempt to know more before enrolling my child. But surprise.... no one responds. I got to talk to someone after about 20 voicemails but she knew nothing lol... not ever going to this place taking my child... this club cant teach anything good to my child I can tell as it has no respect for people and thier time. If they just want money, they should do something else!

We have been with Blizzard for 2 years. After registering my son and participating in trials for indoor season they cancel the subscription and refund part of the money. Never had an explanation or communication. They do not reply emails. Office always close. Nobody answer the phone and the voice mail is always full. Total lack of respect, commitment and communication.
