Maruhachi Ra-men Surrey

Chicken Karaage was excellent. For the ramen, we tried the chicken supreme - the broth was good, but I prefer the shoyu at the Main Street location better. I need to try the shoyu broth here next time. The location itself is really nice. The service was friendly. Overall, we had a good experience here.

Food was fine but service was waaaaay too stressful.The waiter basically ran up at the door as we were approaching and I thought he was gonna turn us down since he didn't let us actually step through the door. Turns out he was just super enthusiastic. The other two waiters that came up were also super high key. Like, there's a difference between fast service and service that makes me feel stressed out and this is definitely the latter.

Prefect gooey ramen egg! Although the broth is not as good as when they were still Marutama, their ramen can still easily be the best in Surrey as there are no competitors.

What can I say? Really tasty ramen broth. Noodles cooked perfectly. Definitely sports a stop. I will be back.

Sensational. I’ve been looking forward to this place opening in Surrey, it’s by far my favourite ramen around.. I would drive to their other locations in Coquitlam, Burnaby or downtown so it’s great to have a closer spot. Literally couldn’t recommend it enough. Great ramen, great location, sign me up.

They are finally open and I stopped in for lunch!What I ordered: Mini-curry, Shoyu RamenPros:The Mini-curry was absolutely fantastic. The sauce was thick and rich. The meat was tender and melted in my mouth. There was just a little kick to it that made my nose water but it was fantastic. I could have easily eaten 2 whole plates of it and I told them this. It might get added as a full entree.Shoyu-Ramen:The broth was absolutely gorgeous and tasted amazing. IT was their signature chicken broth and I drank every drop and desperately wished there was more. The bamboo shoots could have been slightly more tender but they were still delicious. IT came with a copious amounts of noodles that were well cooked.Neutral:The Chashu in my ramen was just average. Nothing to write home about. The broth was absolutely the main star and it fixed every issue I had.Prices: The Mini-curry was about $8 and the Shoyu Ramen was around $15 which is better than several ramen places I've seen and been to.

Tried it for the first time today on lunch break. Had the shoyu ramen with extra egg. Good hearty broth. Good portion size. Reasonable price. Great service. Will return!

Delightful new ramen shop has opened in surrey, brining in the Japanese ramen shop experience with a new modern style. The food was superb and came quick while service was excellent and timely. The servers were attentive and responded not only to verbal communications but also visual and behaviour. The decorations were also modern mixed with traditional Japanese inspiration. I highly recommend getting the chashu tamago ramen as it is a full bowl of food with amazing yet light broth.

Really good side curry rice: super beefy and spicy. Loved their shoyu ramen its so rich and comfy like their other locations. So glad theres finally a good authentic ramen place in Surrey!
