Once again Long Beach Lodge was amazing!Front staff very friendly and professional, not sure why the gentleman was standing behind the ladies working. Just seemed a little odd.The food from room service was wonderful, Thank you to the kitchen staff.Even when the power went out, our stay was perfect. Watching the snow and sitting the fire place was so relaxing.One suggestion that I did mention at checkout this morning was to use a small snow removal device. ( bobcat )Watching 5 staff members shovel snow the day before and waking up to more, was too much.There were 2 vehicles stuck at the front entrance when we left at 7:30am and it was not a good scene as we tried to leave the property.Is there new owners?

A truly great experience! We’ve stayed in many places in Tofino, but what doesn’t compare is the friendly and community feel of Long Beach Lodge Resort. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed!The lodge offers many amenities. I was able to take part in a free yoga class. My husband surfed. You’re never far from amazing food! So many options. The sand toys for my 4 year old was a nice touch.Thanks for having us! We’ll be back.

My friend and I just got back from a great three-night stay at Long Beach Lodge Resort on Cox Bay near Tofino. We had one of the ‘rainforest cottages’ which was a wonderful experience. I have stayed at the Lodge many times before, but never in one of the cottages. We were delighted with how well-equipped and designed the cottage was. Absolutely everything that you might need had been thought of - right down to tiny details such as outdoor hooks on which to hang your luxurious thick bathrobes while soaking in the private hot tub. And the kitchen was full-size (not a ‘kitchenette’).As well as plenty of beach walking, and shop exploring in Tofino and Ucluelet, we rented e-bikes and rode through the forest out to Long Beach on the amazing paved bike path. We had our own barbecue one night and, for the rest - we ate in the Lodge‘s lovely great room, at the Tacofino food truck, at the SoBo restaurant in Tofino, and snacked at the Lodge’s Surf Club. Each place was as good as I remember from my previous visits.The staff at the Lodge, including the Surf Club, were all excellent - cheerful, helpful and attentive. It takes a lot of good people to run a place like the Lodge as smoothly as what we experienced!

Have stayed at the rainforest cottage for 3 nights, which is well surrounded by lovely greenbelt with high degree of privacy. Love the unique semi-open hot tube on the patio, and comfy and practical homey settings of the cottage. The cottage is noted to be very maintained indeed! The last but not the least, all serving staffs were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much, and look forward to coming back soon! Well done!

Wonderful resort. I started going to this Long Beach Lodge about 6 years ago. I take my family there every spring. I’ve tried a couple other resorts but you can’t beat this place. Cox bay is absolutely gorgeous and provides a spectacular view when eating in the restaurant. I stay in the cabins and it’s alwasy clean, presentable and well looked after. I would suggest if you’re looking for great cook wear, to bring your own as the pots and pans could use replacing. That being said it is a cabin… service is great so if you do need help or require assistance, they are very accommodating.The great room is a must eat. Chill vibes so no need to dress up. Food is fantastic, never had a bad meal and good prices for the level of service.Must stay, worth the money!

It was an unpleasant experience for us, we arrived on May 3rd few hours later in evening our cat Harrison got stuck under the bed over 4 hours from 8pm till past midnight, we asked for help at front desk and they said tmr AM that maintenance would come, so not long after this we came back to our room and could see him distressed so we decided we wanted him out now & not wait in morning.He doesn’t stay in one place this long so we knew he was in trouble and took mattress out and see thru the holes on wood board that Harrison had his leg stuck so he finally tried to get out but he couldn’t get loose so we had to gently pull his body out slowly and unstuck his leg so he’s okay.We felt the suite was not pet friendly as the under the bed was a safety issueNo proper lock on screen door so we had to keep sliding door locked but it wasn’t actually locked as it was cracked This room need maintenanceWe were looking forward to trip because 4 years ago we had a great suite with jet bath and felt safe with cats…but this time it was a different room. We weren’t expecting it when we arrived last Wednesday so we are disappointed overall.We weren’t happy overall. Front counter was nice to communicate with us and gave us 1st night free.

Dreamy Location & pure coziness. I honestly don’t have anything to criticize. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the beautiful beach view and breathtaking sunsets at Cox Bay. I especially loved the restaurant which has the best view on the ocean and serves delicious food! The only thing I noticed that could be improved is that the gym could be a bit cleaner and that it would be great if towels or cups would be provided.

We had our second meal here in the great room (in as many days) and it was fantastic. Jolene was our amazing server for 4-1/2 hours and 6 courses, the entire staff was very professional, the food was incredible, and the evening was seamless and enjoyable beyond our expectations.Edit: went back for takeout again the next day. It was that good.

Stopped in for dinner our first night in Tofino. What a fabulous view! We were seated at what felt like the best seat in the house and had a great waitress, Katherine, who was so friendly and professional. Was a magical night we will never forget. Thank you to everyone, especially Katherine ❤️
