Mr. Handyman of West Calgary

We had doors fixed by Doug from Mr Handyman West, and couldn't be happier with how it went. Doug is professional, skilled, and personable. He is able to get things working well, and with a nice aesthetic result. We got to meet his little dog, Finn, who is awesome as well. There are some other things around the house that need fixing and he had a look while he was here, so we are going to be able to get those done too. Highly recommend!

I needed to remove my old rug and replace it with vinyl floor and I was privileged to work with Fernando..I received nothing short of a professional service from him. I wanted the job done as soon as possible and Fernando was able to accommodate my urgent request.. Not only was he able to get me a quick appointment, he also did the job in a day. A job that some other handyman said will take about 3days to get done. And he did it without sacrificing quality. I won't blink an eye to request for his service if need be for any future work.

Today Jordin and his lovely wife, Tara, came out to fix my fence. I have wanted this done for years but my neighbour, although he agreed the fence needed work, he would not commit. So, I decided to do the part of the fence that bothered me the most.This was not easy to find someone to do this job. Most of the fence builders want to do whole fences or at least, 85ft. My fence was just over 65 in total. And, wanting only to do part, made it impossible to find someone.I went through HomeStars as I had used them for a different project years ago. They gave me two names, one of which was Handyman Connection of Calgary.Right from the first email from Nancy, I have found them to be very responsive, friendly and, ever so, helpful. Nancy took my particulars over the phone and I sent some pictures. She gave me an estimate and suggested ways to reduce the price. I appreciated her honesty. Nancy was always available to answer questions etc.On the day of the rebuild, I was sent a text with the names and PICTURES of the workpeople coming to do the work. I was told to expect them at 8 am and that is when they arrived.I was lucky enough to get Jordin and Tara. They were seriously awesome. They listened to what I wanted and I had added some more things from what I had told Nancy. They gave me an estimate which they kept to. They completed three panels and Jordin was working on fixing my gate (this was an added job) And while he had working on that, I was thinking that if we did another panel, the fence would look so much better. So, I asked if they would mind to do that fourth panel. I felt bad because I had originally said I wanted four panels done, but when they got there, I decided that we would only do three as it was cheaper. But sometimes, cheaper isn't the answer. Anyhow, they were more than happy to do it. I had to go to get some more wood and stuff while they dismantled the fence. They quickly put up that panel and packed up.I was really impressed at how tidy they kept things. That is the professional part!!My fence looks amazing. It makes me happy every time I see it. Scheduling communications were responsive and timely. Due to the window repair and roof work location the work schedule was adjusted to accommodate weather. But it was easy to plan since the communications were timely. The work was explained throughout the process and all decisions were discussed before proceeding. The work was documented with photos before during and after completion.The final materials and trim construction is now even better for routing and handling water flow on and around the window!

Wade arrived on time. He was extremely professional and made sure we were kept in the loop wrt progress and what needed to be done. Would definitely recommend them.

I had a water leak from bathroom shower down to kitchen ceiling and called Mr Handyman of West Calgary following a previous good service they had provided and they sent a plumber in less than 2 hours. The dispatcher and the Technician were very professional and understanding, plumber found the cause of the leak, and changed out the part with minimum removal of the bathroom panel. Came back the following day and sealed up all the cutting edges, clean and quick. I will definitely count on them for any future repairs.

Excellent service by Oleg Debrovloskyi. Polite, on time, well spoken and explained everything before commencing on work. He kept me updated on everything he found. Most importantly, his workmanship was top notch.

The men were punctual, courteous, patient and worked in a professional manner. They took pride in their work and strived for perfection. They maintained a friendly relationship with each other and myself. The atmosphere was pleasant. No mess was left. I'd have no problem recommending this company

Mr. Handyman was excellent to work with. We had some damage caused by the city so there was a claims process. They have answered all my questions, showed up when they said they would and had the work done quickly. Will definitely keep them in my contacts for any other odd job.
