I grew up hearing horror stories of funeral services taking advantage of families. When my sister and I were referred to Evergreen we went with caution, still shocked at the rapid decline and eventual death of our mother. Kevin was the right mix of compassionate and forthright. We asked him to give it to us straight and he did. Then he took the time to listen to our stories, never once making us feel rushed or like he was bored to hear about someone he'd never met. Neither of us felt pressured into spending more than we'd intended and left feeling like a huge weight had been lifted from our shoulders.If my review can spare anyone else that week of dread leading up to an appointment, then I've left some good in this world.Thanks for taking care of us, Kevin.Micah Hall

It's not easy reviewing this type of service but there is much to be said for Evergreen Cremation. Kevin was beyond helpful, and was always available to us with no hesitation. He was sensitive, thorough and considerate. Not pushy. The location was very convenient for us and Kevin offers many options for those dealing with this chapter of life. Very grateful.

The death of my mother is one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through. Kevin was so kind and understanding. Even in a time of social distancing he made me feel better. He answered my questions (even the ones he already answered previously, 3 times) and his communication was great.I highly recommend Evergreen.

My wife had been ill for some time and when she was nearing the end I new I had to make funeral arrangements. I had no idea where to start. Our daughter did some research and called evergreen and talked to Kevin. He is amazing. I simply filled out a form on their website, and when the time came Kevin guided us through the entire process. Death is never an easy thing to deal with and a suicide can seem even worse. Our family was dealt this blow in January 2020, then Covid, no service, with no final goodbyes, it was horrible. Throughout the whole nightmare, Kevin has been the one calm beacon for us. From visiting my home in Qualicum to talk about options, to allowing us to keep the ashes at his facility until I could pick up, Kevin has been wonderful. We had his full attention, he was prompt with callbacks, helped with the obituary, publishing and uploading to the website. He prides himself with being a different experience for care after death, and I believe he was. My family and I can't thank Kevin enough for his help these last 18 months, because that's how long it took before we could all gather to celebrate my brother's life.

Evergreen was a tremendous resource and support for our family after the loss of my husband. Even though everything was so difficult due to Covid 19 Kevin and his staff were so caring and helpful and made a difficult time easier to navigate. All we felt as a family was compassion and support from the staff at Evergreen. There was not one moment of pressure, just care and concern. Kevin was available for questions and recommendations and he continued to help me after everything else was settled. The loss of someone you love is devastating I’m grateful Evergreen was there to guide me through.
