Once Upon A Child

Brought some clothes in to get sorted. Received a text saying items were processed and to pick up by 7pm. Store closes at 8pm. Didn’t realize that showing up ten minutes after 7:00pm meant they wouldn’t give me the money and were going to not give me the clothes back or cash. There was no mention of this being a rule when I originally dropped the clothes off. I don’t live in town so I said I would prefer to just have my clothes back rather than have to drive in another day way out of my way (don’t need the $20 that bad and would prefer to donate). Lady at the counter was very rude, rolling her eyes and giving me a hard time about getting MY clothes back. Tossed all my stuff in a box and shoved it at me. Can’t believe they were trying to tell me they wouldn’t give me the cash and were going to keep the clothes that they didn’t intend on purchasing.

Do not go to this store! Very rude. The store had areas with bad smell. I stepped on a piece of gum in the store. Did not accept a halloween PJs that my daughter wore once and looked brand new (only washed once). When asked why one of the ladies that work there said there was a bug on it. I pulled the PJs out and showed the lady at the front that there was no bug on it. Still didn't offer to make it right. Had also offered us barely anything for my daughters lightly used (like new) shoes and top quality winter boots that were purchased from the best children stores in Windsor. Really upset my daughter. I will never return to this horrible establishment.

Absolutely love the store and the ladies! They are so kind and welcoming. I have been bringing my daughters clothes there for a few years now and every time I go I end up leaving with a whole bunch more! The selection is amazing and the kick back from selling to them is great too! It’s a great store, clean, tidy and lots of fun!

I love this store. Always find the cutest stuff for my growing little girl. All of the items are in great condition some are even new with tags on. Last time I went in I purchased 10 full outfits for only $60. I'll never buy from anywhere else. And the staff is so amazing which is a bonus.

With just $50 I was able to purchase all the clothes I need for my daughter's fall and even light winter clothes. I only need to spend another $50 or $100 to buy winter pajamas and snow suit. I go for the $5 dollar clothes only.

This place is awesome. The owners are beautiful souls/ family. The clothes are clean, current, and very fairly priced. The purchasing is a well oiled machine, they've got it figured out here and are great with everyone who walks through the door. Awesome place. I drive in from out if town just to shop here.

The store was clean and welcoming. The staff were professional and courteous, and helpful in explaining the pricing system. The prices were great, and the items were clean, smelled good, and were good quality. Great variety and quality. I was very pleased.

Extremely satisfied with my shopping experience with OUAC Windsor! Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I did my shopping via video chat during the Covid-19 closures and I couldn't be happier! It was easy, convenient and I was able to purchase all of my daughter's summer clothes, some new books and fun, interactive toys in one quick call. When my purchase arrived they were all in perfect condition, some even with original tags! My order was shipped quickly and they even included a bath bomb :)I can't wait to shop like this again and would absolutely recommend Once Upon a Child Windsor to all my friends and family!

Really great experience as a first time customer. The girls were kind got me signed up right away and explained how the store works. They bought over half of what I brought in and even donated the rest to the local churches. I love this and will be back!

I had to drag the family out of this place. Lots of options from strollers to clothing to shoes to toys. All fairly reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. We will be back.
