Dobber's Choppers

On behalf of my husband I am giving this review. (Although the appreciation comes from us both!)Steve, the owner at Dobber's, right from the very first time my husband entered the store was very helpful and accomodating. The shop was quiet when he got there but had to go back home to get the Harley, Steve offered to help with the somewhat quick fix and even show my hubby how and what he was doing to save time n money in the future. The shop was busy upon return but Steve honored his word n helped Brian (husband) right away.So naturally being impressed with the quality of service he took the bike back to Dobber's for a few more things needing attention (please excuse my lack of specifics I know little about motorcycle mechanics). One of the last things he went on for (this I do know) was to replace the shocks for the bike. Unfortunately there was a bit of confusion regarding this specific part relating to the spring size and the weight capacity so the shock Brian purchased was not the correct one for his needs. Upon further investigation it was found out that there are different options n beyond the control of the business the option suitable for Brian would have been about 3x more then he originally paid for the shock he purchased. At that time it was more then we could afford to spend on the recreational vehicle but because Steve is a good business owner who cares about the satisfaction of his customers he offered to do what he could to help out. I guess Brian told him not to stress it when it could be done it would be. Then one day completely out of the blue when Steve happened to see Brian's bike as he drove by our residence he called and told Brian to bring the bike down to the shop. When Brian came home he was over the moon elated at the kindness and generosity and the determination to honor his word from Steve.Thank you Steve and those at Dobber's Choppers, you certainly made my husband a happy man and a forever loyal customer. Would absolutely recommend Dobber's to anyone in the area looking for a good place to bring your bike for all sorts of different things!

I have 2 bikes and Steve has been honest about what my costs are and the work that he has done has been very good. I have suggested him to many people especially if you get how much the local dealerships gouge with their pricing. I am confident in his workmanship and it is always a pleasure to be in his shop. He truly is a gem and a big motorcycle fan.

Steve was absolutely amazing! I was going away the following day for a riding vacation and I had a issue with my tire. Steve was full up but was so good at telling me to leave my bike and he would try to fix it for me. 5 pm he called and said it was ready and I was able to ride it for my vacation! I was so pleased that I even hugged him when I came to pick up my bike!!

Step 1 - Go to Dobbers and discuss your needs. Calling, emailing, or other may not work.Dobbers successfully resolved an electrical problem on my Harley, which other shops were unwilling to address. They promptly took possession of my bike and informed me as soon as the repair was completed.

Had a new front tire mounted. Awesome service!!!

My first stop into Dobbers and Steve was easy going, welcoming, and very helpful in finding the part I needed. I would definitely recommend his shop. Feels like a old place.

Steve is amazing got my bike in for a service and got it done earlier then expected. the price was very reasonable I will be taking my bike to them for everything

The owner of Choppers stayed after hours to wait till I came to fix my flat tire on my R1 and put a plug in it. Job was done in under 5 minutes. Very good pricing and excellent customer service. Will definitely be coming back here for more services.

Steve the owner is a great guy, he has been in the industry for years, knows bikes and has an excellent reputation.He has a very busy, yet really good shop, it's not uncommon for him to have 25 or more bikes waiting to get serviced.With his reputation, that's not surprising. His prices are more than fair and if you require service on your bike, I reccomend you call ahead to discuss getting the work done.Myself and three other riding buddies have all recently had our bikes serviced by Dobbers and we are all more than pleased.If you're looking for a trustworthy bike mechanic and well respected shop, give Steve a call, you wont be dissapppinted.
