Best Friend’s Animal Hospital

After calling several other clinics and being told my daughters hamster needed to be looked at I finally reached out to Best Friends AH. The staff were courteous, and welcoming. They took time to explain things to my daughter as the pet owner.The clinic was clean and well organized.Thankful for their help!

This place is extremely accommodating, the staff are super friendly and full of knowledge and the place is clean and very modern! They gave me lots of great tips and helped me figure out a good care plan for my dog. I highly recommend them!

They are amazing. Ive had issues with vets in the past and every single time i had an emergancy (big or small) or a concern or question they always save the day. they are very respectful and kind. When my service dog got into some bad stuff yesterday they listened to my concerns and tried to keep me calm. they squeezed us in and fixed her up no nonsense. Its worth the 30-40 minute drive from edmonton to go to them every single time.

They were able to see my snake on fairly short notice when every other reptile vet I called was overbooked. Everyone seemed knowledgeable and listened attentively to my concerns, and the vet's assessment was very detailed. The facilities were very clean and the reception staff were friendly. Prices were comparable to other exotic vets in the area.The only thing I didn't like was that they performed the exam in the back room rather than in the exam room with me. They reported that my snake was uncooperative and didn't like them, which may just be because of the new environment and strange smells, but I thought it was strange since he is normally quite relaxed even with strangers. I would have felt better if I could see how they were handling him. He settled in quickly once we got home though, so I don't think he was mistreated.That said, I wouldn't hesitate to bring my other reptiles here.

We have been with this veterinary for many years and Dr Barry is wonderful. She has taken the best care of so many of our pet family. She is kind and knowledgeable. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I'm new to this area and needed a vet for my dog. When I called Best Friends they gave me an appointment very quickly. I found the staff to be super friendly and helpful. Dr. Jody Barry provided excellent care for my dog as did the staff. My questions were answered thoroughly and I got the feeling that my animal was in very good hands. This is a small clinic which makes every effort to make one feel at east. I would not hesitate to recomment them to anyone.

I am very pleased with the veterinary care my pup has received. Her meds are ready when needed, and the team have been responsive - Hillary and Bailey are wonderful. During a recent surgery I felt they went above and beyond for both me, and my pup, and I was very grateful for the extra communication to help put me at ease.

We have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr.Jody and her staff. Although we met them under horrible circumstances, she was very sympathetic and answered all of the questions we had.They were so accommodating to getting Lincoln in and all services were reasonably priced. It is to bad we met her at the end of our dog's journey. We highly recommend this office and will definitely return if we get another pup in the future.

I took in a kitten that had been attacked by a coyote and had some pretty bad injuries. The staff were very knowledgeable and compassionate.They made me feel comfortable leaving her there for the surgery and gave me great after care advise. Thanks to them this little kitten got a second lease on life
