I certainly got an I don't want to be here" vibe from the person filling my order. Other staff seemed friendly enough. They packaged up and priced eight things for me that made it to the cashier but somehow never made it into my box. At least you didn't charge me for it either. So all in all not a great experience but not terrible either."

Winnipeg staple. If you want good quality meats then this is the place to come. They also carry a great selection of local cheeses, mustards, breads and other local/independent items. The new building is gorgeous and a testament to their success!

Wish I could give them 10 stars. Simply the best Garlic Sausage and smoked meats on the planet. Tenderloin is a North End Winnipeg Icon and as a former Winnipegger now living in Ottawa, it is our regular stop when we visit the PEG and we get our meats vaccumed packed for our flight back home. There just not only about the meats as their staff are always so friendly, accommodating and provide the best service with a very clean store.

Their coarse kolbassa, hungarian sausage, and jalapeno loaf are my favorites. Price means little when you are happy with the quality of the purchase. Owner is a good man, keep it up.

My favourite butcher in the northern part of the city, They have good prices and even better cuts of meat! A lot of their deli meats and other products are prepared and smoked in-house, and you can tell from the smell as you walk inside. Every first Wednesday of the month is Wally Wednesday where you get 10% off your entire purchase, and this is usually my favorite time to come and get stuff from them. If you're in the northern part of the city, and you want a good steak while also feeling good about supporting a local business, look no further than Tenderloin!
