Always love mud lake. Guaranteed to see wildlife. We counted 52 squirrels, 3 woodpeckers, lots of chickadees and a rabbit. Sad to see so many being fed even though there were signs asking you not to feed wildlife.

Mud Lake Trail
One of my favourite and regular places to hike. Great for snowshoeing in the Winter. Also note that sometimes the water level will flood in Spring and you will not be able to do the full trail loop.

I am so in love with that place! Conservation area where you can see different species of animals at a close distance from you from ducks, squirels, beavers etc. There is also a dock where you can watch the water turtles and frogs. Easy trail not stroller friendly though. Just watch out for ticks and snakes. Very peaceful and quiet spot. Street parking.

Birds galore and such a peaceful trail amidst the greenery and gorgeous lake views. Pictures don’t do justice to the sights offered. Close to Britannia beach and the trail is wonderful even on a hot day due to the green canopy & chirping birds.

A nice easy walk with plenty of ducks, geese, birds, and snappers in the water. Be aware of poison ivy and please don't litter.

We had a very enjoyable walk on the Mud Lake Trail today. Saw lots of wildlife. Ducks, geese, so many squirrels & lots of birds. The highlight for the children was the bunny! Such a great outdoor classroom for the kids to have fun learning to appreciate nature.

Mud Lake Trail is a beautiful and peaceful place to hike. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and is a great spot to see a variety of wildlife. I've seen countless species of birds, squirrels, rabbits and even deer on my hikes here. The trail is well-maintained and the scenery is breathtaking. If you're looking for a peaceful hike with plenty of opportunities to see wildlife, be sure to check out Mud Lake Trail.

Mud Lake Trail
A beautiful, short but almost surreal trail in the middle of a bustling area of Britannia, and Britannia Beach area. SO much wildlife to see and engage with… 250+ species of Birds, Squirrels, turkeys, chipmunks joyfully say hello as well as the odd wild turkey. A few trails allow exploration of nature and serenity… No dogs allowed. Please be mindful and bring out anything you bring in… No trash cans inside park!

Mud Lake Trail
Amazing trail system, populated but there was a Screech-Owl and the Easter weekend. Trail was washed out at the end but still not worth taking a star away. Plenty of birds, we saw nuthatches, red winged black birds, robins, chickadees, turkeys, woodpeckers and a bunch of wood ducks. Along with the usual mallards and geese.
