Kevin Pendergast Piano Studio

My 6 year old daughter has been working with Kevin for the past 5 months and she has so progressed nicely. He’s encouraging and patient with her. I appreciate that he gives timely feedback and is enthusiastic.I think she is developing a well rounded understanding of playing the piano and learning theory, note reading and using her listening to play back what she has heard. I love that I can sit in the lesson and watch. It takes so much focus and I can see she can be restless but Kevin does a good job of keeping her on track even if it’s for 30 mins.It helps that she gets a little sticker at the end of each class, and homework page for what she needs to practice for the week.

Kevin has been teaching my son classical piano for four years. He has learned a lot and has been successful in his examinations since studying with him. Kevin has a fun, energetic style of teaching but is serious in his technical and musical abilities which makes him an excellent and versatile teacher.

My son and daughter take piano lessons here. Kevin is a great teacher. He’s patient and my children really like his teaching style. My son has also learned to appreciate music and the composition in general because of Kevin.

My daughter had guitar and singing lessons with Kevin for 10 years and she has learned a lot about herself musically and artistcally thanks to his tutelage. They had fun recording and accompanying herself singing...there was something to look forward to every week!

My son started his lessons with Kevin last year. He really enjoys his piano lessons and learn to appreciate music more in daily life. Kevin’s teaching style is systematic and also tailored to my son. He encourages parents engage in lessons which is very helpful for music study. I definitely recommend Kevin if you are looking for a piano teacher.
