6/14/22An Osburn representative contacted me yesterday and spent much of their valuable time with me to try to solve my problems. I applaud the fact that they took a real interest in me, telling me from their actions that they do care and truly wanted to fix the problems I was having. Note that these modern stoves are built to a very strict standard that requires very specific parameters to work. Finally after five months of emails and phone calls I got through! It seems that my case got missed in the shuffle or whatever but then I got someone from Osborn’s side that took a real interest in my case. After going inside the stove and adjusting the baffle system the stove did work better. Also it was suggested that a 16 foot stove pipe or more was optimum where my total length was less than 16 foot.The good news is that the thick layer of creosote was diminished to a thinner coat after I built a really hot fire. It didn’t clean all up but now I can see flames through the glass. It may be this fall before I find if it does completely clean up. The stove gets hot and it seems to burn clean. Meaning it hardly smokes outside. If my issues were addressed early on I would give them at least a four star rating. If everything does work out I will to raise my rating to a four star.Thank you OsburnFirst post. When I went to the Osburns site to post a reyiew on the Osburn 2000 stove it didn't get posted. After reviewing the site I found they only post postive 5 & 4 Star reviews that don't point out flaws. This is very missleading. How can I learn the truth or tell other people of real problems. In the future when I read reviews and they are %100 postive I will do another search to see if Google has some real reviews. I was told by an Osburn rep that the problem was all mine, end of story. I was also told that other people had the same problem and it was indeed only their problem not Osburns. I wish Osburn would step up to the plate and post all of their reviews! I also wish they would honor their products.Added to post 6/12/22. The main problem is that the air wash system does not work. The window built up creosote and never did clean off. I got a moisture meter and the wood came in at 8% to 14%. Am I to think I am the only one with this problem? If so why didn't Osburn post my post? The biggest problem I see is that they completely wrote me off. Do not trust a company that only posts postive reviews.

I required technical information for the age of a Caddy wood/oil combination furnace for a client. I emailed a request to SBI and received a reply back in less than a day. Eric Moisan thank you for your quick reply. Not just looking after existing customers but promoting possible future customers. Thanks again....

SBI is a family company with very friendly people who are interested for all what does keeping with heating business. I have many experience with another producers from whole world but over the thousands miles which are between us I never met with so friendly and nice people in wood stove burning nad fireplaces business.I´m very glad that I met Marc Antoan and his brother and SBI team at the fair in Orlando 6 years ago and I´m head of distributor in Czech Republic nad Slovakia.

Got an old wood stove off the internet and knew nothing other than it was made by Osburn. Emailed sbi asking for a manual and some info on new door parts. They got back to me the next day with lots of good information and advice on ordering parts. They were very helpful.

I had a problem with my double wall pipe not able to separate it easily contacted S.B.I. spoke to one of the service Tech`s who was very helpfulMartin the service tech gave me a lot of good information and within a week they shipped me a new pipe system. It was really great at how quickly this company responded to my issue. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

While not dealing specifically with a stove related issue I want to commend the support staff for taking the time to respond to my questions about an older Drolet stove that I was considering buying. Their reply was immediate and very helpful. I'm even more confident now that the brand of stove that I will ultimately purchase will be a Drolet stove. Thank you Eric.

I have the Drolet ECO-65 pellet stove. As this is my first pellet stove or any wood burning appliance, I am not experienced in this department. I only gave this 2 stars because 1- we really do love the pellet stove. I have it hooked up to a thermostat and all we have to do is keep the hopper full and do the weekly maintenance. Here is why only 2 stars. The other day we had a power failure (20 hours) When the power went out the stove was in the middle of a burn cycle. Power goes out and everything shuts down. So there is a burn pot full of pellets so it keeps burning and smoldering away. Because the vent pipe will not naturally draft the smoke just stayed in the burn chamber and then started to fill our house up. Not good. I inquired about a battery back up and was informed that there is not that option for the stove. WHAT!!! How can you sell a product that you know when the power goes out that this will happen?Had I known this I would not have bought the stove and this was my inexperience. The company needs to come up with a solution for this. As for anyone else looking at this stove BUYER BEWARE!!!

I bought an HT3000 and am very pleased with the sales, delivery and purchase. It is a good quality and good value for my large home in Northern Ontario.
