Foothills Aquatic Centre

We booked swimming classes for kids. This aquatic cente has totally changed after renovations. This center has pretty good washrooms and change rooms. It's in the NW quadrant. The swimming instructors are really dedicated and hardworking. The size of the pool is not very big but just ok. Water temperature is very comfortable and not cold like other pools in the city.

My son had swimming lessons with these guys and he had so much fun! I am so happy with his instructor and the facility was very nice!

It's a good pool when I went when I was younger but unfortunately I once had a concerning moment at this pool back in 2014 or so and It was the end of the public swim and i was on a floaty that someone had moved when i went to grab it then I proceeded to struggle to get out of the water because i was disoriented funny thing is that the Lifeguard on duty" Did absolutely nothing to help me even though i was screaming for my life literally. I really hope that girl doesn't work their anymore cause the fact that she had watch me struggle for a good few minutes and did nothing is concerning and that my sister had to save me even though the person that job it was. Was completely useless and basically almost killed me. and Traumatized me with that moment. Other than that it a nice pool."

Nice pool, not crowded. If open 7 days per week will be great.

I used to swim here as a kid and now have the pleasure of taking my kiddos for swim lessons here. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Change rooms are dated but clean and well maintained. Tot pool is great as is the main pool and dive tank. Highly recommend!

Great pool and lovely staff. Only downside is short opening times. Probably a staff shortage post pandemic.

with a deep pool, diving board, kiddy pool, and a lane pool, this is a pretty nice facility. always have had great experiences with the staff, and the change rooms are clean and decently sized.

It's a nice community pool to swim in and fairly easy to get to. I went with some friends and we had a good time together even their child had fun. They have a kids pool if they want to go in there but they also provide floating devices and life jackets for safety. This pool has one water slide (nothing fancy though) and it goes into the deepest pool there which also has a low diving board. The water temperature is pleasant to swim in.

Amazing place to learn how to swim, as well as to bring the family for a fun day. Has a lane pool, dive tank, and a viewing area for the people who don’t want to get wet!

Very clean and organized but not sufficient seating for events. Great pool, hot tub and diving pool. Uniquely designed and good prices. Adequate for all ages and people. Nice service and good lifeguards and big place, close to the University of Calgary.
