OVHcloud data centre

I have bought servers from them ranging from VPS's to private clouds. All of their products are definitely as advertised and for the prices you pay you are getting a fair amount for it. By no stretch are they taking you for your money. Although as other comments suggest their support is pretty much non existent. They leave customers to deal with the software side of things (Which is fair considering the prices) although if there is a hardware problem they are sure to fix it STAT. The problem with their support is that their technicians working in the datacenter and their support agents are in completely different locations. The technicians have no contact with the support agents and vice versa. Which i believe is ridiculous. The agents should be able to call the datacenter and possible conference call to resolve issues in a timely manor other than leaving customers to twiddle their thumbs and hope that the issue is resolved. In conclusion OVH is great if you know what you are doing and want a cheap reliable solution. Everything works fine if you know how to do it. If it didn't massive game hosting companies such as BisectHosting or MC-Pro-Hosting would not greatly depend and rely on them.

Very good place and a lot of learning. I never saw a server with a cooling mechanism that used water and saw them there for the first time. With Montreal weather, this method is extremely energy efficient. Appreciate all the state of art technology they use plus continuous improvements they implement.

Multiple configuration errors on their part on private cloud resulted in frequent down time. Errors ranging from bios configuration to non working failover.Can't reach a support agent which can actually help. While the specialist" works on the case

WORST COLO/VPS EVER!!!I had some Voice services on virtual servers with them. They were down every other month for some reason or another! I lost clients because of them!Go with ANYONE else. You are better off hosting on a DSL connection running servers from your basement!

love OVH, been with them for years, i left just to try other data centers but nothing compared to the great quality that OVH offers. reliable servers at a cheap price that anyone can afford, even hobbyist like me can get a VPS for as low as $5 a month CANADIAN. Im a canadian too so having my data so close to where i live (just south of Toronto) really gives me peace of mind that my data is in the right hands.

Terrible experience would sum it up. Technical support takes weeks to respond and never proposes solutions. They just ask questions (some, over and over again). Explanations on technical issues are ludicrous. Tech support seems to be staffed by kindergarten drop-outs. No phone support for all practical purposes. You never speak" to a technical adviser

If I could leave 0 star I would! Their support is so bad! I was just calling because the internet on my VPS was down, still accessible by KVM and this is where the nightmare started. The technician told me to restart in 'Rescue Mode' and since then, Windows is not bootable, and by connecting through SSH, all my files are gone. It's been 6 days and they still cannot help me recover my files. They won't let me speak with a higher level tech and I feel like they are filtering my calls because I wait between 30 and 40 minutes every time that I call and then suddenly, the line drops. Sometimes you try calling them and they just won't answer. DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!I just noticed something funny! Look at the comments and you'll see Christian Pilon, one of the tech working at OVH and I spoke with him on the phone... I mean HE WORKS there and even him left a 3 STARS review!!!

Because of COVID my company was forced to shut down. After taking my company off of their server I had asked them to cancel my account. They refused to do that and made me pay one more month even though I was not using their services anymore.A month later I am being charged AGAIN with an additional 10 dollar fee for god knows what and they are trying very hard to avoid the situation or help me in getting my money back.In short, it has been almost 3 months that I have not been using their services, I have talked to them many times about cancellation and they continued to charge me. They are now making it very hard for me to recieve my refund. They are thieves and I would stay away from them if you are trying to conduct a serious business. These people are far from serious and they are crooks.

I've a had a server under So You Start brand for the last few years (since 2015) now and it's been decent. Their control panel's been easy to use and setting up your OS install is fairly simple. Plus, the additional IPs are a nice thing to have. As others have pointed out, support can be hit/miss but isn't the worst I've dealt with (1and1 takes the cake for that). Value-wise... depends on your needs. They've hiked up prices in the last year, and while I can understand the need to recoup costs associated with investing in DDoS mitigation, for the price I'm paying now, I've been contemplating about moving somewhere else.

Don't buy OVH. The support doesn't exists. I have VPS Cloud and never works, tickets never has responses. And the DDoS support neither exists.I want my money back....
