It's beautiful there the trails are easy to navigate BUT I came home to find in horror 2 ticks In my hair ppl beware of the ticks they are bad out there thank God I found them before they burrowed into me other than that it was lovely and to the jet ski guys your not good at all chasing a mom n her babies around the water you should be ashamed!!!!

We went for a hike this past weekend and absolutely loved it! It’s tranquillity and peaceful nature is exactly what we were hoping for while getting some exercise in. We will definitely visit again!

Forty Creek Park was one of the best places I've been there and I've stopped there walk through there their pool is the best place to go swimming on a hot Summer's Day

I really enjoyed this park! Little bit of history beautifully displayed on Lake Ontario. People with SUP's, canoes, and swimmers. The trail the winds along Forty Mile Creek is kinda great but could have issues for those with kids. There is a lot of broken glass, some of it could be old, but just something to keep an eye out for. Part of the trail is posted as Closed because of a bridge that looks a little old. Use at your own risk! Saw a Kingfisher looking for food which was a nice surprise. Many ducks, gulls, and a few geese.

Forty Mile Creek Park
Loved the hiking trail just off the parking lot of 40 mile creek. Its not a long trail but its so scenic and crosses a wooden bridge that is closed but passable..a couple of the planks are damaged. The bridge is stable. The sides of the trail are ablaze with dame rocket and other wild flowers. There is a gorgeous wooden teepee lean-to dedicated to Terrabita that is fun to check out. Its a great starting point for a loop hike to nearby Beamers falls. Around 9.3km return.

Forty Mile Creek Park
This is a great park to watch the shore and feed the birds. It's got a trail, too. Great for unstructured natural play for kids. If you want a swing set and a fenced-in area, this is not the park for you.
