H&R Block

As mentioned in my survey response after filing taxes - my husband and I are extremely satisfied with the service we receive from H&R and our tax expert Song. This is our second year filing with H&R block and the process is so painless, easy to do/understand and we loved the added feature this year of contactless (because of Covid.) We highly recommend their services and will continue to use them for years to come!

My tax professional has been doing my return for the past 10-11 years. When CRA mails me the notice of assessment, it is exactly the same as what my tax pro prepared. Service and knowledge is top shelf, but only 4 stars cause H&R Block is expensive.

They are nice enough here, provide a drop in service and have had no problems with the work. But the PRICES are the issue! We have been going to this location for a few years now and the prices just keep changing. The 1st year the experience was smooth enough. But since then they keep increasing their prices to unreasonable amounts. And they don't provide a clear price breakdown. We went in this year expecting to pay the same amount as last year but came out paying double. To be fair our taxes were more complicated this year - but at the least you should let your clients know from the start. Keeping loyal clients requires a better long term business sense.

The drop off service was a breeze this time around! I submitted and labeled all my tax documents and got an email back from my tax expert (Song W.) after 3 business days to confirm some things for my claim, and then it was ready. Easy, quick and efficient. She even gave me tax tips regarding having multiple employers and filing for medical bills. Very happy with the service. Thank you!

I have been doing my taxes here for a few years now and each experience continues to get better and better. I highly recommend going here it doesn't matter who you get to work on your taxes Mehjabeen, Raj or Sung they are all extremely knowledgeable easy to interact with and very eager to help. Fantastic place to your taxes done - they have a great deal of knowledge and insights that they share to really help you. They have made filing annual taxes extremely easy and efficient for me (and you know what I mean if you have tried using self-serve options like TurboTax which can get quite messy), and I truly appreciate all their hard work.Special shoutout to the manager Jayshri - really great person to work with and really helped me out and going the extra mile to make sure I don't forget to add items specific to me!

Angeles was horrible at helping and told me to sign without explaining and was not able to go over any questions said the system makes errors. I still have not got a follow up after looking into the situation no one has called to go over my taxes. I feel like they did not do a good job at all. She gave me an amount after she said it was done and when I went to pick up my refund it was 2000 less as she forgot my cerb t4
