Maplelea Canadian Girl Dolls

I haven’t been to the store, but there products are absolutely amazing plus amazing quality! I have so many items from maplelea and I’m getting more for Christmas plus my birthday I can’t wait! I’m probably gonna have to take my doll to the maplelea spa I’ve had her since 2013 and her legs are getting lose, anyways I enjoy maplelea a lot! I really recommend them!

I am so impressed by this company and the quality of their products. I especially love that the dolls look like and reflect the life experiences of real Canadian girls. The doll clothes and accessories are of a high quality, as are clothing for girls (our “Canadian Girl” hoodie purchase is a fave)! Keep up the great work!

Open only fall until the start of winter (Christmas). Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. You can touch, take pictures and even read details about each doll before you decide your purchases. Nobody rushes you, you can order whenever you want and you get your product on the spot. I actually ordered online and picked up in the store but ended spending an hour there just browsing (starry-eyed). They offer shipping too. It's a small showroom located at the back of their warehouse but all their products are displayed so I got a good feel of the quality of each item. Makes me proud as a canadian mom the dedication put on these dolls.

Shipping was super quick, everything was packed up so nicely. These dolls have been a favourite through generations of my family!

On top of providing a high quality product, Maplelea’s customer service went above and beyond what I would expect from a great company. They were efficient with emails and provided a solution quickly that was in place before I even received word that they had fixed the solution. They made sure my purchase was going to make it on time for Christmas with only days left.The Northern Spirit outfit and the Chalet Chic Cardigan are a great match to the Roots socks and kids sweater. My daughter loves these dolls; and I am happy to spend money on a 'Canadian' doll instead of promoting the American Girl. However, I am very disappointed in the company's customer service. In 2017, they ran a contest on becoming a Maplelea model for their catalog and site. They were looking for ordinary girls and to enter you had to make an appointment for a photo shoot and also pay a fee. This all took place during March break at their Yorkdale location pop-up store. When we arrived, it became obvious that this was simply a ploy to get ppl into the store. While I have no delusions about this being a marketing event it would have been nice if the girls were treated a little more special for the event. There was no special attention paid to them, they were just like any other walk-in customer. Additionally, we were refused the option to receive/purchase the photos they took. Worst of all though, there was no further communication as to the results, regardless of being chosen or not. These are children we are speaking about. My eight year old is still waiting for a response! This was not just a ballot entry. We made an appointment and spent practically the entire day there. The least they could do was send a form letter or email. And of course, as they I'm sure anticipated, we ended up spending even more money purchasing outfits and accessories since were in-store. Manipulative and Not Cool at all!

I love their dolls and products! My daughter loves her doll Taryn and plays a lot with her, great quality as well. They also run creative worships for kids at their stores for a very reasonable price, only $ 5 per session. Amazing!

I can never get ahold of them to pick up my order. My husband even took time from work to go there. He called and no one answered, no one came to the door and this is during their business hours. I still have an order there I need to collect with no response. Very frustrating.Edit - I’ve changed my rating since posting this review. They did reach out and offered free shipping, but it wouldn’t have gotten here in time for my daughters birthday. I did speak with someone and they made sure to be there today for pickup and we finally got our order. I recommend paying extra for shipping, it’s just easier and more reliable. Thanks for reaching out and helping me get my order, much appreciated.

The quality, detail and durability of each Maplelea doll and all the accessories are unmatched. The online shopping and shipping process are easy and efficient. The customer service goes beyond expectation with timely, personal email responses as needed. I can't recommend this company enough!
