Legacy Exteriors - Stucco Paint & Repair Calgary

I recently bought a home and some problems were not revealed until I took possession — such as the stucco exterior. The exterior had some cracks and dings, but one wall located on the basement walk-out deck had significant damage. Below a window were two impressively-sized holes where the mesh could be seen.Richard with Legacy Exteriors called me within minutes of my submitting the “contact me” message form through Legacy’s website. He promptly provided me with a quote once I sent him images of the damaged areas as well as photos of the home’s full exterior. He was also forthright in fully explaining everything the repairs entailed.Legacy’s crew were punctual, professional and, most importantly, did excellent work. They were able to completely patch and correct the stucco damage without delay. Their job of colour matching the home’s existing stucco was superb. I found this to be quite impressive, especially since the home is over 25 years old.I would definitely recommend Legacy Exteriors for any type of stucco work.

We had several repairs that needed to be done to our stucco as well as wanting to replace windows and paint the exterior of our home. We heard about Richard and Legacy Exteriors from a coworker and we are very glad we decided to go with him. He scheduled our stucco repairs immediately and referred us to a great window company (Royal View Windows & Exteriors) as those needed to be dealt with prior to painting. His stucco repair crew, Sheri and Blaro, were fantastic! There ended up being some big issues that they repaired, and they went the extra mile by touching up some minor areas that I'd not spotted myself. Before the windows were installed Amilcar came out to put cladding on our garage and front doors. This was a very professional job and we are quite pleased with the results. He came back to work on a couple more doors because we were very happy with his earlier work. Alberto and his crew came out to power wash the house prior to the windows being installed so they'd be able to start painting as soon as the install was completed. The day before they were set to paint they came out with 5 of our favorite samples and painted areas on a couple walls so we could have a better idea of what we wanted. The next day they arrived on time and the preparation and painting went really smoothly. The quality of their work is very high! We are really impressed with how much better our house looks! Cannot say enough good things about our experience with this team. We would recommend Legacy Exteriors to anyone!

Richard at Legacy Exteriors came highly recommended. We visited a number of homes/projects that his crew had completed prior to selecting them for our repair. We had all of our windows replaced, which resulted in a significant amount of stucco repair, with many stucco batons that needed to be repaired and/or re-built. Sheri and Blaro worked tirelessly to get a large job done in some challenging weather conditions. They were always willing to answer questions about little items of the job, and flexible to adjust as required. The quality of the repair work and their attention to detail were excellent and the entire stucco project was exceptional.When it came time for the painting, Alberto and his paint crew were meticulous in their prep work, helpful in finalizing colour options, and did an outstanding job . Their quality of work was amazing, and they got the job done much quicker than anticipated.Throughout the entire project Richard and his team were very proactive with communication regarding the job, provided helpful input and answered all of our questions. They completed the job quicker than anticipated, and were able to fit us in sooner than we had expected. We had Legacy Exteriors repaint our stucco house and clad around the garage door. Richard took us on a tour of other houses he had done which was really helpful in showing us the quality of the workmanship. We also really loved that they painted large swatches of several color choices on the side of the house because the way it looks on a large textured surface is really different from how it appears on the little paint chips. The painter was super careful about taping off and protecting areas. The house looks new!

So, the outside aesthetics of our home (window and door frames) were somewhat outdated, worn and looking tired with age. We looked at several other options to “Re-vitalize” their appearance, window replacement, full prep and re-paint or frame cladding. We decided on the latter and so glad we did. Our experience with Legacy Exteriors has been nothing but “Top Notch” and we cannot thank Richard and his team enough for their professionalism, beginning to end. Amilcar, a craftsman in his own right, was a star. Very meticulous in his work, punctual and worked full days. He was very clean, not a scrap of mess anywhere on site. His attention to detail was flawless. He was very pleasant and courteous. It was a pleasure to see him work. From “Dank and Dark” to “Fresh and New”, a complete transformation from old to “ Re-Vitalized”. We are totally satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Richard and Legacy Exteriors. No payment until we were satisfied. They did a great job repairing the stucco and painting it. The crew was prompt, efficient and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. A very quick turnaround. Legacy and Richard went the extra mile by fixing up some areas that was not in the original contract since they thought would make the job complete. To our surprise the cost of the contract remained as agreed upon. There was a minor concern that was dealt with immediately. Great customer service.
