Goldwood Stairs

Got a new set of straight staircase installed for our unfinished basement. The process was very simple and convenient. Got a rough quote via email, and got the guys to come give a free estimate. They have done a lot of new staircase remodelling jobs. The staircase is built at their local factory in Markham, and we got to visit in-person to check out Lin’s workmanship… would recommend to anyone looking to get their stairs redone!

Worked with Elena and Marki in our second home renovation, and was another job well done. We have worked with Goldwood in the past for our main floor staircase renovation and recently we decided to renovate our basement. They are so experienced with what they do, and are so efficient at the work. Great results, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a smooth and convenient renovation.

Me and my wife are more than happy with the job we got done we honestly can’t believe this is our home. It feels like a model home now. The company’s workman ship is perfection and more than what me and my wife could’ve ever asked for. The workers were prompt, polite and their turnaround time was incredible. I would recommend this company to anyone, family and friends!

STAY AWAY!!Friendly before signature, super rude attitude afterwards. Always pointing finger between the office (sales) and the installation team.No attention to details, poor craftsmanship, no customer orientation.

I wish that I could rate it 0. My experience in the showroom was extremely terrible.I was the only customer/visitor today in there showroom. I said Hi to them when I entered the room. I asked a few questions about the products. One female staff (manager or owner) walked back to front desk after answering my questions. She started chatting with another female staff. They ignored me. It was very weird. I didn't understand why they intentionally make me invisible. Be honest, I only asked a few questions regarding how the materials could be installed and matched my home. I didn't ask any rude or personal questions. I stood in front of the front desk and looked at them for a while. They definitely saw me, but they kept chatting in front of me without looking at me. How rude it was! I asked Aren't you sell produces to an individual?". The manager/owner said that I should discuss my questions with my contractor. She didn't want to WASTE TIME TO EDUCATE ME.What a store!I went there because of the good reviews. I didn't feel any respect with no reason. I don't think that rudeness means professional."

The ladies working in the front office were extremely helpful with all of my many questions.They were easy to talk to and very knowledgeable!The selection they offer made it very easy to find exactly what I was looking for and were helpful with accommodating a custom design.They delivered a product that was exactly what I was looking for!Thank you very much!!

Pretty happy with our stairs overall, they were able to give us the exact style I was looking for. Lost one star because they didn't fix all the creaking before installing the new one, even after mentioning that as a concern prior to.
