I don't own a home to have work done by Phil and his team, but I know him personally and will say he does not sleep until he is 100% sure you absolutely love what they've done.If you want a reno team that sits on their lunch cooler all day scrolling through social media while smoking ciggs, then call the other guys you see driving around in a rusty black truck with a UHaul trailer.Heavy Duty Homes is HEAVY! They get things done quickly and will not waste your time or money. When they are on site, their trucks line the street, and even though they are working a dirty job, the crew is still very presentable in their Heavy Duty Homes t-shirts.Heavy Duty Homes and The Russo Team are a team that does not and will not disappoint. Thank you to the team at Heavy Duty Homes. Our basement renovation is absolutely beautiful and well above expectations. We had remodeled our kitchen 18 months ago with a different company and it did not go well, therefore we were very reluctant to start another renovation in our basement. After our first meeting with Phil we knew this is the company that we were going to move forward with, for the renovation. Phil and Steve ensured we were involved every step of the way, listening to our vision, adding design expertise and ensuring that we got what we wanted. Every member of their team that came into our home was professional, skilled and explained what they were doing. At the end of each day everything was cleaned and put away I learnt that what happens behind the walls is as important, if not, more important than what happens out front. Their design is stunning. We hired Heavy Duty Homes to do a full two-story interior and exterior renovation to our home. Our renovation was extensive—involving everything from removing load bearing walls, to modifying the exterior elevation of our home. From the onset, Phil was always professional and honest and we respected that. We trusted him with this huge endeavour and we are so glad that we did. Undergoing a renovation during a pandemic is difficult to say the least, but the HDH team definitely helped to make the process easier to handle. Phil and team made our unfinished basement into a home 2 years ago. They were timely, patient and professional and did a great job!2 years later and they were able to come back and fix something that came up in our basement and within 48 hours! Cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work and professionalism!They have also come back to the house to pain our two floors upstairs and did an amazing job then as well!

We hired Phil and his team at Heavy Duty Homes to complete the fireplace feature wall in our living room in Feb 2021. The work included moving a gas fireplace, reframing it, tiling the wall, installing our frame tv, patching all drywall and painting the surrounding area. From the first phone call to the day they came out to provide a quote, all our communication in between and completing the job, everything was handled professionally. The entire project was completed faster than we anticipated and stayed 100% on budget. We are thrilled with the results and the quality of the work. Having this wall transformed our living room.
