I will give them 0 stars if I can. I am a recent university grad and was living with my parents until now. Now that I am thinking of living on my own, Sim & Thorne won't even help me look because I don't have any rental references. I think what they want is people born with rental references." Don't waste your time with them."

I'm disabled use a walker and wcb Alberta set up a pool program I own I'm being bullied and harrased this is my first winter here I'm from Vancouver so we don't get snow and ice and I owned my condo on the 19 floor in Vancouver. asked sim/ Thorne if I coulduse salt or sand for the ice they said no I said just was sliding with my walker they know I'm disabled they said no also that they would be sending someone out to check the ice I mentioned this problem to they physio therapist and case manager at wcb they are trying to be me out of my house so I'm not a shut in then the strata management company sent me a bill for 75.00 because the ice had melted by the time they got here .I'm so depressed now I'm back in bed thanks to simply and Thorne do not rent here or buy here just wish I hadn't I'm sure this is not common practice in Alberta to treat seniors and people with disabilities this way they should be ashamed of themselves in will be going to the media and legal action this is so wrong .It's Dec 13 2018 now again having problems with thisCompany regarding snow removal. I'm tired of being bullied and harrased. I disabled and a shut in I trying to to the best I canBecause of my recent CRPS AND CHRONIC PAIN AND FIBROMYALGIA and severe pain and depression due to being a shut in during the winter months now they are complaining where I put my snow I put it exactly where the snow removal person puts it but they want me to put my snow 20 feet further which I'm unable to to my area has to be clear in case of a fire and because of my limited moblity, I need to be able to have room for my walker. It doesn't cost anything to gave a little bit of compassion for people with disabilities and seniors with disabilities and moblity issues I'm trying to stay in my home as long as I can I don't think that's asking too much !Not impressed with SIMÞE AGAINI THOUGHT THEY GOT THE MESSAGE LASTTIME APPARENTLY NOT !HAVE RESPECT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES !!

I have rented from Sim and Thorne on a couple of occasions!! They are all wonderful people, very helpful and caring! Doug, Carla and Leona have always been accommodating and understanding. I highly recommend them

Havent had any problems with these guys yet, been pretty good about most repairs so far. Lovely people in the office, and have helped me with all my questions. Will give 5 stars after a few more good months. I love my home.

Rude, bigoted, and the most insensitive group of individuals to represent a company. If I could I would give them 0 instead of 1 star

Sim and Thorne are by far the worst people I have ever rented from !! Stay away from this company . I moved out of my building with permission and they billed me an extra months rent for time I never lived there and also took my damage deposit. They went trough my personal belongings while they where packed and being waited to picked up by the movers. Later they proceeded to lie to me and say they didn't. Be careful especially with and employe name Carla Everson, she is extremely unprofessional and has acted so on several occasions. DO NOT RENT FROM SIM AND THORPE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LIED TO AND MISS TREATED !!

I've rented from them twice now and have had great experiences. The folks who work there are friendly and when we've needed repairs done, they are there within the hour. I'm extremely grateful for their reduced security deposits and minimal pet fees. A++

Rented for 7 years from this management company. Awful, awful people to rent from. They are generally unwilling to do repairs and if something is in dire need of repair or replacement it will begrudgingly be taken care of. First they will complain to you about how much it is costing the owner to fix things that are, by law, required. We are not talking upgrades here. When the stove quit working they assumed I wasn't paying my bill. When the fridge quit working, they complained that they had already replaced the stove earlier in the year. They refused to paint the rental before I moved into it, or fix the multiple pre-existing holes in the walls. When I gave notice to move out, they did not show up for the final walk through that had been booked earlier in the week. None of the people that you have to deal with are professional and in most cases are down right rude and ignorant. I would steer as clear from this company as possible.

I love renting from Sim and Thorne. I've lived in my place for over a year now and find them very pleasant, helpful and reliable. Their rental properties are very affordable especially for people that are low income.
