Ramen Danbo
So I've been wanting to try ramen danbo but the several times I came, the lineup was way too long. Today I held out until I was able to try the ramen because I've heard great things about the many vegan options of vegan broth. They even have a vegan soft boiled egg. Overall, I felt it was a bit overrated because the soup was pretty salty and to be honest, I've had better ramen elsewhere. However the pricing is very reasonable and there are many vegan soup options. Which is great! The place is really small, which is why the wait list is always very long. I tried the classic ramen today and felt it was a bit salty, if I do come back, I will ask for a milder soup.

This is one of my favorites spots in Vancouver. The ramen is always on point and I have great memories coming here. However, when we visited on July 11th, our team of 5 had to wait for 2 hours to get inside. What made it worse was that smaller teams who had hardly waited got to go before us. I would have preferred if they had at least asked us first if it would be alright for us to sit separately. A team of four that came after us got to go in before us just because they had one less person. I’m not sure who is managing the queue but the waitlist seemed useless. I would suggest implementing a time limit for bigger groups as two big groups before us took their sweet time while they saw a huge line. What was more infuriating was that when we finally came in, they put together two smaller tables for us and added a stool on the side. I couldn’t help but wonder if they could have done that sooner instead of letting in couples who’d come after us finish their meal and then put the two tables together for us. I’m not sure if I want to come here again as long the customers in line are not treated seriously.

I love Dambo! I don't go often because the line is always between 45 minutes to an hour. But every time I go it's worth the wait, it never dissapoints. I just wish they do not practically rush you out with the ticket ready the second you finish your plate.

Ramen Danbo gets my vote for some of the best ramen in Vancouver. Because there is limited seating inside, there is often a long waitlist to get seated, depending on your group size. Came during the week and for a larger group, there was about a hour long wait to get seated. Once seated the food came out very quickly and the both the ramen and broth was delicious. Love how you can order extra noodles too in case you have extra broth leftover. Prices are very reasonable as well. Will definitely have to come by here again

Very yummy, eggs were cooked to perfection. I would have liked the noodles cooked a little more but still very good. I got the gyoza and topping deal for $4 extra. Fast and friendly service. There was a line up when we arrived and a line up when we left. They have a iPad to check-in and reserve your spot in the line. Line moved quickly but I did feel a little rushed by the server to leave/finish meal so they could keep serving the line up.

This is one of my favourite place for Vegan Ramen!! As I prefer to have vegetarian/vegan Ramen, its very difficult to find a place that offers multiple options! And Danbo is one of them! Try them out and I am sure it won’t be disappointment for you! I was impressed with its flavourful broth and service! Dining space is quite small but well-managed. Make sure to book a seat via yelp before reaching there.A must-visit for delicious plant-based options and attentive service.

Absolutely some of the best ramen I’ve had in all of Van, and easily top 5 I’ve had outside of Japan itself. The Rekka is a great spicy option, albeit they could still turn up the heat more from extra spicy. The wait can be quite long so don’t expect to just arrive & sit down. But the broth is full & very tasty, the noodles are delicious & I like that they let you pick firmness. The pork chashu is well cut & takes on flavour well. Can’t recommend this place enough.

There’s always a wait so I was intrigued and decided to finally put my name down & try it. Small space inside but it wasn’t stuffy at all. Service is okay, they were really slammed with online orders all the way up to closing time. The ramen was good but I think you could have the same experience somewhere else with less wait.

Even though we waited for almost an hour and 30 minutes, it's worth the wait. It's the best ramen that I have tasted so far. When you go inside it's look like you're in Japan.
