Un séjour très confortable au chaud au chalet la Halte. La vue était magnifique!

We stayed at their Petit coin de paradis cabin on Lac Trois Milles, north of Lac Megantic. The cottage is spectacular. Recent build. Well appointed. The only problem we had is that we didn't realize we needed to bring our own towels, which was our fault for not reading the email instructions properly. It's beautiful. The water was warm. Shallow, good for younger children, but perhaps not for older, avid swimmers. The area is sparsely populated (the county), but there is much to do for the adventurous (hiking, boating, swimming, etc.), and some nice restaurants in Lac Megantic. The company itself is extremely professional. We broke a spatula and stained a sheet; offered to pay for both. They wouldn't hear of it. Would come back in a heartbeat. I have recently attempted to book one of their chalet on airbnb. The chalet seemed charming in the photos, so I jumped on the occasion and requested a booking at 12:45pm. Airbnb lets the host accept the paid amount within a delay of 24 hours. I was answered by Coralie a few hours later, whom answered my questions as well as provided me more information on the chalet. She has asked me to re-confirm with her the booking at 3:55pm to which I answered at 6:10pm after work. She has yet to accept the payment from Airbnb even though my request was the confirmation for the booking. She messages me next morning that the chalet has been booked and propose another weekend. Meanwhile, my second choice chalet on airbnb has been booked up since the delay caused. The lack of apology and professionalism for double booking a chalet is the only comment that I have for Chalets Foressence.
