We had an amazing time at our annual Epic Yoga retreat. As always the food was fabulous. We loved all of the vegan options. Whether we were around the new gas fire pit or paddling on the lake everyone had a great time. Already looking forward to next year.

There is a sense of tranquility, peace and belonging I felt when I first visited the Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre. The rooms where clean and spacious, everything looked new and well-kept, the view from each room was picture-perfect and the food was delicious, healthy and the variety offered surpassed our expectations. When a group of our Golden Ears Writer's enjoyed the lodge, I was inspired to write a poem about Loon Lake because on a calm day, the surface of the lake transforms into a mirror; what a beauty! It was amazing having such well-run operation, safe, organized and maintained, yet, we felt free as if we got the entire lodge to ourselves. The staff were helpful whenever we needed them, and they left us alone to enjoy every bit of the magnificent jewel in the forest, Loon Lake Lodge. It was a memorable writing retreat indeed. I have been to 3 retreats. I love everything about this forest and especially the Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre. If you have not been here before, you have got to and if you have already been there, why won't you come back again?

We have been retreating at Loon Lake for 5 years now. Since the lake is so close to Vancouver it's an ideal location for people not have to travel hours but really feel like they've gotten away. It's amazing what a short time in the wilderness can do for your soul! Karim and the staff at Loon Lake are so easy to work with and will accommodate most requests . The cabins are rustic and charming but still very clean and have all of the amenities so you aren't roughing it" at all. The dinning hall has ample space and the food is delicious and always fresh. The family style buffet is relaxed and the food comforting. I always eat a little too much

Honestly one of the prettiest places in BC! The lodge staff were very kind and accommodated all our requests regarding food and rooms. The room was spot clean, and the lake was an absolute wonder! You can kayak/canoe, paddle-board, swim (the water is somewhat warm) and hike. A great place for corporate retreat or school field trips.

Loon Lake Lodge Retreat is an absolute gem of a destination, offering a serene and secluded setting that is perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As soon as you arrive, you're immediately struck by the natural beauty of the surroundings, with the shimmering Loon Lake and majestic mountains providing a stunning backdrop. The lodge itself is equally impressive, with charming, rustic decor that makes you feel right at home. From the cozy fireplace in the common area to the comfortable and tastefully appointed guest rooms, every detail has been carefully thought out to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The owners of the lodge, the hosts (manager) go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area, providing excellent recommendations for hiking trails, local restaurants, and other activities in the region. One of the highlights of staying at Loon Lake Lodge is the delicious breakfast served each morning. The food is always a delight to wake up to. The fresh fruit, and hot breakfast dishes are all exceptional, and the friendly service makes for a wonderful start to the day.Overall, I cannot recommend Loon Lake Lodge Retreat enough. It is a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in a stunning natural setting. With comfortable accommodations, friendly hosts, and delicious food. It was a perfect destination for ourWet'suwet'en Honouring Our Ways activity, Thank you so much.

It takes about 20 minutes to get there once you've past the gate. It is spectacularly beautiful! The staff are nice, the food is great and the lodge is rustically beautiful. Lots of paths to walk or hike. My only criticism is that the walkway down to the firepit & docks doesn't have railings all the way down.

Breathtaking views and surrounded by the beauty of nature. This is definitely one of the hidden gems of BC. The buildings and amenities are extremely well maintained and very clean. All the staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable, and contribute to the warm and welcoming vibe of the entire establishment.Couldn’t have been happier with our stay and the lovely services offered here. Plenty of parking, some pot holes on the way up but otherwise a well maintained road. Great for a get away or team retreat (they have a ropes course, archery, and other great team building activities to suit your needs). There’s a well developed fire pit with bench seating, a gymnasium, and plenty of spaces to lounge and relax.Food is an added fantastic bonus.Definitely highly recommended!

We heard about this place from some folks from another agency similar to ours that had stayed here for a training and team building weekend. We have stayed here 2 years in a row and already have the next 2 years booked! We use our time at loon lake for team building and plan to host some trainings next year in the meeting rooms. The space is beautiful, the nature back drop is priceless with hiking, trails, canoeing, swimming, the fire pits and most of all the food! The food is spectacular! Every staff member is genuinely happy to help you with any needs you have and appear to love their jobs which I believe speaks to the culture that exists at Loon Lake. Thankyou Loon Lake team members for helping us feel valued, safe and welcome. We appreciate this space and you! Cant wait for our next Leadership Retreat at Loon Lake :)

I came here with a school trip, and I was quite impressed with the experience. The food was delicious, and the facilities were nice and clean. The wifi covered most of the resort, however, I did find it strange that there was no signal. Overall a very positive experience.

Hello,I am very disappointed in my experience here. The flies (probably a different insect) kept on biting me and left me with around 20 bites. In addition, the wifi didn't work in the lower ends of the cabins and the toilets were clogged too easily (which I had to unclog with my hands since the staff didn't give me a plumber and I had to wash my hands in the lake since the water's didn't work). The experience was overall unsatisfactory. The only saving grace was the food was really good and the staff were really nice.
