JINYA Ramen Bar - Amazing Brentwood
We dropped by Jinya Ramen at The Amazing Brentwood for lunch.Jinya Tonkotsu OriginalWonton Chicken RamenCrispy ChickenBrussel Sprouts TempuraCaramelized CauliflowerBrussel Sprouts Tempura was quite disappointing. It was supposed to be made with white truffle oil, but we couldn't taste any truffle flavor in it. We'd had this same dish at another location of Jinya Ramen years ago; back then the truffle flavor was very strong and we loved it. This time the truffle flavor was completely non existent.Our daughter wasn't too crazy about her Wonton Chicken. A standard Chinese version of Wonton would have probably worked better for her. This dish was very forgettable.Everything else on the table was good. Their ramen soup and noodles is what they are known for, and they do that very well. JINYA Ramen Bar - Amazing Brentwood
Ramen tasted good but suffered from a severe case of Shrinkflation. Ordered the Tonkotsu Black and there were three very tiny pieces of meat that was for the most part FAT. For comparison, the 4th picture is what you'll get at Kintaro for the same price of around $19.Venue felt hip and cool but I won't be able to bring the rest of my family there as Jinya's speakers were just blaring. I can't even hear our server when she was repeating our orders and the few times she came back to check on us.I guess they're more after the BAR vibe as opposed to the family sit down lunch/dinner vibe.

JINYA Ramen Bar - Amazing Brentwood
This was the first time my husband and I went to the Jinya located at the Amazing Brentwood. The atmosphere was very open with a lot of natural light. There are a few tables at this location, but find the layout at the Robson St location a lot more appealing and comfortable.We arrived around noonish, there was no line and chose to sit at the bar rather than a table in the middle of everyone and ordered 2 virgin margarita's (can't remember the price for these, but do recall it being quite overpriced for a mocktail), an order of gyoza ($9) and 2 Creamy Vegan Ramen ($22 x2).My husband and I have been going to Jinya since the opening of the one downtown on Robson St, but through the years we have noticed that the quality isn't as good as it was and the price for our favorite ramen has doubled in price ($12 when we first tried Jinya), but the quality hasn't reflected the price. We still enjoy Jinya, but this last visit for 2 people was $78 including taxes and a 15% tip.Aside from the food, the service was very friendly and the food arrived in a timely matter. The 3/5 stars is a reflection of the food and not the service.

JINYA Ramen Bar - Amazing Brentwood
The ramen and tacoyaki taste were great with fancy plating. On top of that the brand new interior was nice. The location was also perfect but the price of food was too expensive compared to the fact the ramen is simple and fast food. Also, seats and the table are uncomfortable becasue there was no independent table at all(There was just bar table or long table to be seated with other groups). It was like small and fully packed food court. I paid $60 (+ tips) for 2 people for lunch. Even though it's the closest place I can go from my place, I'm not sure if I can regularly visit because of unaffordable price.

JINYA Ramen Bar - Amazing Brentwood
We came around happy hour time and got the poke salmon taco. Flavours were great and the shell is extra crunchy. The tonkatsu black ramen is very rich broth and hint of garlic. There was 2 slices of chashu but it was well marinated and so was the egg.The chashu rice was flavourful and lots of rice. Price point is on the higher side but atmosphere and location makes up for it.

We were out in the back room which is very tiny and dark. Has to use a flash light to see the menu! Lol. The ramen was quite good as was the bao bun. I would go back

JINYA Ramen Bar - Amazing Brentwood
This was my first time trying Jinya. I enjoyed it! I enjoyed the ambience however; they’re dining area is small. This might be a nice place to come with a date since it can be a bit more intimate. Harder to come with a big group of family or friends. I thought the food was fine, but my family did not. We started off with the edamame and broccoli which in my opinion were nothing special but good, nonetheless. My husband ordered the Tsunami White Pearl which he did not enjoy. He thought it was too salty and the meat was too chewy. My brother-in-law ordered the Spicy Chicken Ramen. He didn’t enjoy his either. He didn’t like the size of the noodles or the broth. In his opinion the broth wasn’t seasoned as well as it could’ve been. I ordered the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen. I truly ordered my dish. I thought the broth was good, the tofu was soft as it should be, and the noodles weren’t under or overcooked. I could actually order it again. For my son we ordered the one option. It came with chicken, fries, ramen, fruit, and some other miscellaneous items. He was also given a scoop of ice cream at the end. He didn’t like his food either. He usually will at least eat the fries but left them untouched. All in all, decent place but wouldn’t visit again since no one else seemed to enjoy their food. The service was great. The waitresses were really nice and looked after our needs in non-overbearing way.

JINYA Ramen Bar - Amazing Brentwood
New Jinya ramen in Brentwood. The food is always tasty. I visited here after lunchtime and ordered my favourite ramen, chicken kara-age and beer. It seemed only one server was working at that time, cause everything is slow, even for a cup of water, but the server was a kind guy.

If you're a vegetarian/vegan or simply looking to try a vegan ramen, Jinya is a must-visit. There are only few Ramen places which offers multiple option for vegan Ramen and Jinya is one of them! Been there multiple times and always had a great experience! Would def visit again for another bowl of their delicious vegan ramen!

JINYA Ramen Bar - Amazing Brentwood
Able to grab a table quickly during lunch hour on a Saturday. Service was ok. Took us a few tries to get the server’s attention to take our orders. Pretty good ramen. Rich tonkotsu broth with perfectly cooked noodles (both thin and thick noodles were good). One of the seasoned eggs was slightly overcooked. We enjoyed our meal but it was quite pricey.
