My daughter and i were lucky enough to have A Star Art Parlour at our company barbeque. Amazing talent and very personable!

I had a very bad experience with this company. I have been trying to book for an event for my daughter's first birthday party, been contacting them since first week of September for an event in November and until now I never received a prompt response. Both emails and calls are not working. It's very exhausting reaching out to them almost everyday just to ask for a response and with the time I have invested in and the sensitivity of the event.

We booked A Star last year and were very pleased with the service; but, this year we had a very stressful experience. As major sponsors for a charity event, we booked A Star to provide face painting and balloon twisting for kids. We confirmed the booking over the phone. When we followed up (thank goodness we did!) 2 days before the event we learned they had not booked it in their calendar and they were delayed in their response to let us know. This left us little time to arrange a Plan B. It was only after several emails from us and persistence to speak with the owner that Angela called us personally. Sadly, the call with Angela only made us feel worst as though we were somehow at fault. Although the talent is great when they do attend, we cannot give this company more than 2 stars. They need to be more reliable and do a better job following through with the booking process. Had our booking problem been handled in a more positive way we would not have felt compelled to cancel their services, which is what we ended up doing.

Booked few years ago and didn’t have a great experience with balloons. Face painting was good therefore the two stars. The owner offered a 20.09 credit and 25.09 for next booking. Few years later post Covid lockdown, decided to contact to book. Sent an email requesting days. Was advised one day was booked but one was available and to send more information. I sent the info but had no response and it’s been over one week Also left a message thinking maybe email want received. Again. No response. Poor communication. Poor service. Thought I’d give another chance but evidently not a good idea!

I have booked A-star over the years and I have been super happy. They have extremely good quality and always seem to make the kids super happy! I would recommend this company to anyone.
