My family (family of 4) and I just finished a fishing trip with Paul. We all walked away with smiles and great stories. Paul was patient with us as this was the first time for the kids and myself. Paul was very knowledgeable and focused on finding spots where we could catch the most amount of fish and to ensure that we had a great time. We would definitely book again.

My wife and I went on a charter with Paul on Sept 2, 2019. He has a great boat ; I think it is 32 feet long. Paul is very knowledgeable and wants his customers to have a great experience and catch fish too. We did both! Paul can not control whether the fish bite all day long,, but he stayed out an extra 1.5 hours at the end of a typical day ( at no charge) while we tried to catch one last fish. Paul is a class act. Took my GF to Ucluelet to do a salmon charter for the first time and we had a blast. We had a slow day, but Paul was working every minute to try to improve the catch. He probably has as much experience as three other guides combined and it shows!Every boat near us was doing bad this day but I can guarantee you none had the enthusiasm and heart that Paul showed us.Went home with 34 pounds of salmon! Had to buy a new ice chest for the plane- not a bad problem to have. I’m a life long customer now and plan to come back with Paul whenever I can in the next year or so.

Paul goes the extra mile to ensure his clients put fish in the cooler in the three years we have had paul as our captain we have managed limits of salmon every year 2012 he helped us boat the 2nd place chinook for the month of August,looking forward to August this year and hopefully taking first place

We had one of the best days of our lives with Captain Paul Grimston!! He is very knowledgeable about fishing and a great host as well.
