Kumon Math & Reading Centre of Saanich

I started going to Kumon in grade 7 all the way up to grade 12. The staff has been so helpful and the learning material helped me stay ahead of all my math classes! The learning process trains your self discipline and self learning skills. I would defintley recommend this program to anyone who wants to excel in mathematics or who wants to set a good math foundation!

As a graduating senior in college, I can trace back my success in school and strong algebraic foundations to my time at Kumon. It was worth every hour I spent there — this place has been home to some of the most caring tutors I've ever met, whom I am still in close contact with, despite over a decade passing since I last studied here. Kumon is worth it. You will continue to see the benefits accumulate and prove themselves to you, year after year. The Canadian grade school system does not spend enough time on solidifying math skills, and Kumon helps to fill the gaps and build the foundation that will help students succeed at advanced levels of math (AP levels, postsecondary levels). Putting your child in Kumon means that they will be empowered to pursue further studies in STEM fields, where strong math skills are absolutely necessary. I can't recommend this centre highly enough.

It totally worth it!! Both my kids started when they were Grade1, and now they're teenagers.They both say math is their favorite subject at school, because they've been learning good understanding of math, and that makes them confident at Kumon.They also like reading. They've had good comprehensive skill since early stage, and that makes them wanting to learn more.We really appreciate what they've done and are glad we decided to do Kumon!!

Kumon is worth it for the math program alone. I wish I could have benefitted from Kumon as a child but instead I went through school dreading anything math related. Our children however both love math and in fact call it their favorite subject. I find comfort knowing that our kids won't be discouraged to pursue certain fields of studies because they may be math intensive. Thank you to the whole Kumon team!

A wonderfully immersive learning experience. I took math lessons at this particular Kumon center from when I was in grade 3 to grade 12. It completely changed my school experience, I became the fastest one in my class when it came to multiplication and algebra, and I would not have been able to get through high school calculus without it. Kristen and Linda have been amazing at guiding me and so many other students through the program, adjusting our individual work loads to suit our needs. I highly recommend this place to any parents or child looking for support in math or reading at school, or just beginning to learn either skills! A calm, fun, supportive environment that I will treasure forever.

Both of my kids are enrolled here, and it has done wonders for them academically. Both are reading at or above their grade levels. Both have an active interest in reading without being nudged. Kumon has made both of them comfortable with math, not intimidated by it. Highly recommend for any child.
