Matt responded quickly when we called even during night time. Hot water tank suddenly stopped working due to a leak. He just asked us to send photos/videos of our hot water tank and in less than 24 hours he was able to provide us a new one. The price is also reasonable, even cheaper than we expected. Will surely recommend Speedy Plumbing and Rooter to family and friends.

Highly recommend Matt! I contacted Matt for an emergency when our downstairs toilets back flowed due to a clogged pipe. We could not use any water nor any washroom so we needed it looked into asap. He responded very fast. Matt arrived within the hour and fixed the issue in less than half an hour. His price is very reasonable. He saved the day for us! Thanks again Matt for being our lifesaver!

I contracted Matt for an emergency water piper repair. He responded very fast! His repair was very clean, only happened over a short period of time, was good quality, and was at a reasonable price. I am very happy with his work. The damage in the water piper was big and they left it nicely. Also, the people that worked in his company were very kind, patient to all my questions, and responsive.

I called Matt to deal with a leak near the water main at the front of our elderly neighbour's house. He came on a Sunday to check out the problem, suggested a couple of courses of action and gave an estimate of the work. He carefully and patiently explained everything that was going to happen and our neighbour chose to go with the long-term option; a water line replacement from the main to the house.His team came the next day, Monday, and did the initial work quickly and professionally. The job was completed Tuesday before noon. Right on budget, with no surprises.Matt and his team did a fantastic job and left me with very little to clean up and good instructions on what to do to help our neighbours.Matt and his team care about the people they do the work for and I recommend them for any plumbing job.

I noticed a leak coming out of this clean out pipe and suddenly felt a brush of PANIC. It's the long weekend and we have a burst pipe. A quick online search led me to RotoRoosters* (not their actual name). Tech was a nice guy who brought out the big guns augers, camera ($160) a pop, and an assortment of Blades. The guy spent 3 hours jamming that auger into the vent intermittently looking in with the camera and could not produce 1 single root, or an image of the blockage culprit. Every time he forced the auger it was met with resistance to which he attributed to a break in the pipe which possibly is because of a tree growing above it. Everything seemed plausible so he sent down a probe to find out exactly where the broken pipe was then wrote me a quote for $3,950. why so expensive? It's sewer water coming up and we need to dig 7 feet down and about 5 feet wide. Don't worry, we'll save the tree.Never go against your gut. And my gut told me to find another guy to sort out this potential sinkhole of a problem. I called Speedy Plumbing & Rooter* (their actual name). Matt came by within 20 minutes and assessed the problem. We might need to dig but i don't think we need to go 7 feet down". I like the way this guy is thinking I said to myself . And who else in their right mind would come in on a holiday and not charge holiday rates? Either he's had a steady stream of Proper 12 the whole afternoon or Matt is just a proper gentleman with exceptional work/business ethics.930 am Victoria Day. Colin and Brett show up for a day they will never forget. After hand digging a couple of feet down (could not get the excavator through and risk ruining the dilapidated fence )they see the source of the leak. It WASN'T anything close to what I was originally told by the other guy. By this time the water main pipe had cracked severely and water was just everywhere. City workers had to come in to shut off the main valve but it seemed that the water was still flowing out at a fast pace. "It's residual water says the city worker. It will slow down eventually" 1 hour into it and it has no signs of slowing down. City worker had to get his super to come and show him where that damn valve was. Colin goes to work immediately as sunlight starts to disappear. Throughout this ordeal I was at work and Matt was constantly updating me as if i had hit the notification bell. I come home and the aftermath of what had been a very long 9 hours of water redirection and control is reduced to nothing more than a few puddles and a little mud.I have never written a review but the honesty

Matt came recommended by one of the city engineers I had come by to shut off the water when the pipe leading from my house cracked in my front lawn. He was extremely quick to respond, offered to come by within a few hours to assess and provide quote which was very competitive, we went ahead with it and he came back the next day as promised and completed the work within about 4-5 hours as he told us. Would highly recommend Matt and Speedy Plumbing!

Left an email on the Speedy website on a Sunday night and Matt phoned me 10 minutes later, and just like that an appointment was made for the next morning to replace our hot water tank.Colin from Speedy came in the morning and did a great job, patiently moving our washer and dryer out of the way to get the old hot water tank out and the new one in.I was very happy with Speedy's service from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Called Matt yesterday night and got an immediate accommodation to fix a runny toilet tank in one of our tenant suites. Got the issue repaired and taken cared of. Really super speedy and professional service.Will definitely have them on my speed dial!
